Suppose I hold up an can and a twig. Can I tell you the twig is not in the can? Yes. Can I tell you what is in the can? No.

Pokémon-ex:
Deoxys ex
Raichu ex
Camerupt ex
Dusclops ex
Medicham ex
Cacturne ex
Deoxys ex
Rayquaza ex
Milotic ex
The second Deoxys ex being the reprint of Regular Deoxys ex from the tin? Why would they reprint an EX that came out in the last set.... ok, maybe the Quaza, but the Deoxys #97 reprint? Hardy likely.

Time to start the old conspiracy....
1. Blaziken

Ok I'll stop. Groudon looks cool. I don't care that its not really playable, so what if Emerald has no or few good cards it'll be a break from scammering to get good cards quickly. It will still sell very well then when EX Ho-oh and Lugia (name not official) comes out, it will sell well as well.

Judging by ZoraJolteon's tentative (and by no means complete) set list, this looks like it's going to be a pretty wild little set to draft. Lots of good Trainer cards (especially draw-power cards - important in real life, paramount in draft!) and possibly the return of Metal, Dark, and Rainbow energies. The only hangup draft-wise would be the holo Basic Energy cards.

BTW (and this is only speculation), could the Modified format for the 2006-2007 season be Emerald-on? It sure looks like a good "foundation" set.

That said, I can't wait for this set to come out.

Why did they bother to reprint Life Herb two sets in a row? Blaziken is a distinct possibility, unless they do an EX: Dragons again and only give the lower 2 of the evo line. If so, they'd need to add Gardevoir Sceptile and Swampert as well. But I wanted my holo chocolate cake!

Yeah, but I guess that was another Sandstorm "making up the numbers" thing. In Japan, they were in ADVEX1 with Sceptile ex, Blaziken ex and Swampert ex.

Yes - the Deoxys ex is a possibility. But then again, trainer cards are trhe kind of thing that are regularly reprinted. And the format might be FRLG on next year (although due the Pokémon complimentation in Deoxys, I'd say HL is more likely).

lol maybe the "newly designed" Basic energies will be by Yuka Morii........ on second thoughts, no, just no. To be perfectly honest I don't think they will do the reprints that I've been going on about for ages. It was more wishful thinking (coming from a still occasional Blaze player) based on conclusions I jumped to regarding the QCPs.

All in POP1. 'Cept the Blaziken, which they used the Meiji ones instead. So that's all thats left.

I know what could fill up some of the gaps! Imukani's Exploud, and that Luvdisc of death, and some other promos I forgot.

I can confirm that there are 11 ex's in the set (not including secrets and boxtoppers) from my distributor... this is means that list that was listed is missing atleast 2 ex's...

R's Persian....? As for the Luvdisc, I reckon it'll be in Emerald - but not the Imakuni's Exploud ex family.

I am 100% Sure that in the original 106 cards there are 11 ex's...
no more no less... after # 106 i have no clue...
Drew

Well, if the basic energy cards are the holo energies that are talked about, that would add 6 cards to the list if they decide to number them. There is also the chance of Special Energies being thrown into the set, too.

Really I was expecting more from Gro and Kyo because I'm really a legendary addict. All Gro and Kyo are dissapointing except for TA:TM ones. Anyway , I'm still gonna get those two since I have all Grokyo in ex sets even the promos

They could do the aforementioned list of EX's, minus the reprint of the Normal Deoxys EX (still in shock that they might actually go ahead and reprint the DR Rayquaza ex), and plus the three GS,SS starter stage 2's as "icy" pokemon-EX...

Yes that's what i've thought, putting in the starters. That leaves the way clear for the next set to be based more around Lugia and Ho-oh (in time for the Mystic Ticket or whatever its called events on the GBA).

EX Lugia and Ho-oh! Or, as was pointed out to me on another forum, more likely EX Ho-oh and Lugia.
