Probably not, considering Prerelease winner pins are now gone, and I'd bet that just plain Prerelease ones may be gone soon too...
Maybe it'll be something to replace the pins? I believe that's what it is, as the "Interesting twist in the fall" was his response to my question of what will replace the pins.
 
Hmmmm............Can't be a prerelease card.....Maybe a bonus pack? lol, that'd be nice.

I'm sure the regular pins will still be there. I did notice there was no Winner pin given out too. Most likely there will be a winner promo like WotC or something.
 
As far as I can tell from the floorplans I've seen (...staff were sent .pdfs of the site arrangements), there _is_ no space set aside at the Town and Country for a Japanese Nationals tournament.

That doesn't mean that there isn't going to be one, of course...

Yeah, that's what the POP guy was doing up there when I saw him, checkin out the floor plan.

What I forgot to mention is that he said that free play will be OUTDOORS. They don't want free play in the main event area like last year.
 
Makes sense...they don't want people playing on the floor and blocking the aisles...and there are no 'free play' tables in the main area. Everything is assigned to either the main tournament or side events.

Anyways, my suspisions were correct, they did stop working for the night.
Also, just in case anyone cares, the entire inventory of packs, merchindise, posters, other decoration, beanbags, EVERYTHING, was out in the hall way, in the open tonight. Apparently they're moving it all to a secret storage room tomorrow morning =P

Can you ask them tomorrow if there is wireless internet in the building or if there will be any GB tournies? I'd appreciate it if you could. :)

EDIT: Oh yeah, my guess on the secret twist is lanyards. I don't remember where I read it, but someone said that it would be cool to have lanyards and then someone else said that they might be doing it...

There's nothing 'secret' about lanyards; they were handed out to the participants at nationals...
