Fake Lv X's on Ebay

Yellow border around Honchkrow and Dialga cards are a big tip off. Should be that foil stuff. Also color looks weird on Magmortar.

....And that there are 5 LV X's for .99$ starting bid.

I'm glad that no one had the chance to buy these. Pretty sickening.

It's not uncommon to have a low starting bid.
That is not a sign of a bad auction in and of itself.

the ones that tick me off are the people that break apart a world chamionship and sell the contents as rare promo cards. the title reads something like: Promo Rare Gardevoir lv X (we'll see this one in the future). come on now.

I agree with plebeianprint

(sees a sig coming out of that)

well it is rare, and you might as well call it a promo, because it promotes the world championship. the L-B-S decks sold out in stores very quickly. yes the deck retailed for $10, but you just could not find it in stores after a while. i think its black market price was correct.

I agree. Since when does a card you get from a starter deck count as a promo?

Those are definitley fake.
However, why does someone like him gets a 99.9 positive reputation and power seller.

It's conceivable that he doesn't know they're fake.

If you look at his feedback history and note what he normally sells, Pokemon cards are not on there.

If someone on here had a 99.9 + rep from selling pokémon cards, there is no reason they should know anything about how to tell a fake magic or yu-gi-oh card. The same is true for this sports card seller.

I think it would be reasonable to show the seller this discussion thread and allow them to explain the situation and understand why the cards are fake (border etc.).

If you took the time to read over the replies I did post above that I did contact him and he knows nothing about pokemon. infact if you chekc all his previous sales none are pokemon. He was doing a friend a favor and didn't know they were fake.

Not everyone who sell pokemon are 100% knowledgable of fakes. I mean many years ago I got 2 fakes and knew nothing about it, I thought I got a holo jungle common and was like "wow, cool!!!" later to find out it was indeed fake. Another was a non-holo pidgeot from jungle.
