Favorite moment for the 07-08 season

1- Going 1-0 drop at a City Championship then driving to another CC and making it there for round one. (deck out jeremy maron round 1 ftw)

2- Walking into playtesting one day befor cities with a Gardy Gallade deck, and being like "wow this deck is pretty good. it just might be the play for cities."

3- getting an invite at nats
 
Had an epic matchup at my first ever premier tournament (a cities) against a Torterra deck using Flyvire.

Going to the T8 at my second ever premier tournament (states) using my new Electivire deck, and then losing to Andrew Knaack. Respect, and good luck to you at worlds!
 
I dont think you are allowed to post last names unless you get their permission or if they are your parents or if they are your kids or something... This should be a thing for ascension. Going 4-0 at BR and drop before top cut ;P

Hes a master so it's okay. Anyway I srsly doubt he cares as everyone knows him. lol
 
Mine was at MD States, when I was 5-0 with one more swiss round left, and I was playing Dialga/Venusaur, and every three minutes someone would walk up and almost scream "How can you possibly be winning with that deck?!", it was really funny.
 
Meh, my season was pretty swell. I went 1-5 at OK States and 3-4 at TX states. But I also went 7-0 at Regionals.

ugg... I remember that deck.

It was a nice concept, but relied on coin flips to much for my liking.
 
5-0 in a K24 special event on swiss, could be better if i didnt lose the final and ended 6-1.
15-2 record over 3 states.
 
I guess the best time would be winning a battle road which was my first preimer ranking torney win even though I only won because there was mixed divisions. I played GG which took away a lot of fun too but at least I played it with absol. It was fun in the begining because I would start with nothing more than absol and nothing else. I'm only surviving becasue I was able to get good cards from my opponents hand and then I would have a very long turn where I get somthing out like a gardy or claydol and get my bench full and about to attack with gardy the next turn along with getting a gallade out and a couple of claydols. It was probaly the funnest ways of playing GG. Also durring that BR I played a person known to be a lucksack who always donks me nomatter what I'm playing and what he's playing he donks me and I donked him with absol using my only multi energy, strength charm and roseannes that I drew in his 2 muligans plus top deck.

My worst happened in almost every T4 event where I got my proud spot of 5th place. Even when we barely got a Top8 I get fith place. Actually thats not my worst. My worst happened in the same BR that I won going 4-1 and that 1 loss was my worst because I attached my scramble thinking I could use bring down on his chomp but then time was called and I relized that I had 5 prizes left and he had 4 with a flygon ex active and I had a gallade in play. If I only attached the scamble to gallade insead.
 
Favourite moments:

1. 07-08 was my first season, so making so many new friends is the highlight for me. It isn't exactly an individual moment, but I feel I should post it anyway.

2. Nats! Once again not an individual moment, but it was awesome. Next year I WILL NOT go 1-5, mark my words!

3. One individual moment that sticks out in my mind is when I was using my Empostar deck, battling against Steven at league. He was using his Garchomp deck. He retreated out his Chomp Lv.X, then attacked. The next turn he realized what I could potentially do. Sure enough, I candied into an Omastar (sending chomp lv.x back to a Gible), then played TGW. It was the funniest thing!
 
Meeting Michael Miles at Nats,talking trash to him and watch him take it. Oh so priceless,cuz his brother nore him did any talk like they did on the gym. It was worth the 40 dollars to go to nats.
 
Mine would be the dearest moment you could hope to see while judging at ID States. Junior Division, two kids were playing in probably their first event. Walking by I noticed a player looking through his deck but hadn't played a card to let him. I asked what he was doing and he replied, "I want to see my Squirtle". After politely reminding him of the rules of the game, his opponent replied, "It's OK, I want to see it too!".

Juniors ftw!

Beyond that, the favorite moments would have to be road-tripping with my PTO and quite honestly my second family (the players and staff of UT). The opportunities I've had to play and judge would be little laurel without having them to enjoy this game with!
 
Getting 9th at our Top8 cut Nationals. PRICELESS.

Then a player got DQ'd. Begged the head judge to let me in.

Then, I'm suddenly playing in T8 replacing the guy who got DQed. Lost 1-2 though. ;p
 
Watching my daughter go 1-2 at Nats and wanting to drop, then she went 5-0 to make top cuts after I refused to let her give up, and she got her invite to worlds because she stayed in :smile:

For me: Judging for Heidi in Florida and getting to judge the masters top cuts at regionals, watching Gino and Eric play out was a blast.

As a player: going 5-0 at a BR that I was supposed to judge, first time I had a winning record at a tourney.
 
i got my professership this year :)
also beat one of best players in uk at our little battle road amittedly he forgot his deck so built this delta charizard thing on this spot and i was playing a semi decent version of magmortar but it was a good match and i did think i had nearly lost it a couple of times
also if he does look on here my offer still stands for you to borrow ANY of my cards for worlds if you are definatly going just email me its prob still in the trophy box ;)
