Flygon ex PK

Togekiss + Mantine D + TVR Reporter or Holon Mentor or anything that discards energy?

Explain to me how Swampert is more reliable as it takes up your turn?

Because the Nidoran F has call for Family and it can get your Nidoran M out, improving consistency from the first turn. So with Pachirisu that's like 6 good starters. Assuming your list is 4 Pachirisu, 2-1-2 Queen. The nidoran M isn't bad either, collect is better then other starts. So making 9 out of your 13 starters good starts isn't a bad idea. The Baltoy isn't bad but most times you will only draw 1 maybe 2 unless your opponent gets a God start, in which case the Baltoy start doesn't seem good anymore.

My mistake on the Porygon for some reason I thought it was 50. Maybe because I thought that if I add some Plus power (4) some strength charms (4) i could get it to do 100, 120 energy now and then. Just one flip.

So your telling me that you would take the autoloss to gallade simply because the energy could get in the way? Most decks run around 16 or 17, -4 Holon FF. That's 12/13 spaces for energy. It's not like we don't have NM, Castaway, Roseannes, right?

So why post a deck if your not going to play it? Because that's what I'm understanding from your post.
So your basically trying to get people to play Flygon Ex (PK) so you can beat it with your other deck? Please clarify if I'm completely off.

I tested Togekiss with Mantine d, and Mantine d doesn't do enough. You need to be constantly shuffling energy back into your deck, and not just 1 or 2 energy (1 usually) each turn. Also, the Mantine d hurt themselves and are EASY snipe bait for Magmortar. Also, they are horrible starts.

I'm not putting down Togekiss, but Mantine d just isn't enough to really use Togekiss to it's maximum potential.

He probably wanted to know what people thought about his idea, wanted some advice on it ....
He dosent have to say for a fact he's using certain cards in it (you wouldn't go and copy one of the decks o the deck help forum . you'd take it look at and look what could be better and make it your way ,what ever your comfortable playing with

is this thread around flygon anymore? -.-

well imo im a bit iffy with flygon ex as an attacker since it needs 3 to attack

are there any energy accelerators that work with it well?

it really doesnt need an energy accelerator, take my word for it.
three energy is very easy to get on it.
the while youve got a flygon up and active, you should have to problem getting three energy on a benched one before the active flygon dies (which wont happen for a LONG time).

well yeah thats a problem XD

well i guess then you hafta tank the active flygon, then power up the benched

i would like to see this in play very much though :p

^ good thing nothing really happens to the active one. lol.
yea its a fun deck to watch play, i was watching one of my friends play (and nothing of his was prized, and he started with pachirisu, so its ovious that the deck only hates me, no one else.) and it was really cool watching him get rid of all that damage.

a slight problem ive found this deck to have is absol. cause if they discard your set up stuff, you have problems the rest of the game, but you can still win.

a friend of mine is running this and honestly it's sooo amazing to watch. I had my doubts, but heck.
My GG has gone 2-10 against his Fly.

the bench space is pretty tight already.. for me dugtrio just seems impossible for me. i would love to see how this deck does against empoleon

So I've read this thread all the way through and can't help but wonder. How do you plan to win if you have to ditch 4 cards a turn, and likely need 12 attacks? That's 48 cards to the ditch. And since after your starting hand + prizes you only have 47, I doubt it can reliably keep shutting off damage.
That, and getting Flygon Ex + Flygon Ex (Due to Slashing Strike's side effect methinks) + Kingdra Ex + Kingdra Ex + Claydol on your bench seems slow enough as it is. So how can it in fact set up fast enough?

^^I don't run Kingdra ex. It's too slow for me. I autoloss to Blissey though.

^If you don't run Kingdra ex, the deck can be setup in 4-5 turns which is ok.
About having enough cards to discard, you just do. Night M does its job too.

^^ youre going to have to try it out.
but it does set up plenty fast, and you can almost always discard up to 4 cards.
thats just how it works. try it and see.

Let's say:

6 Prizes
2 Horsea
2 Candy /Seadra
2 Kingdra ex
2 Trapinch
2 Candy /Vibrava
2 Flygon ex
1 baltoy
1 claydol
6 energies to attack (for both flygon)
=26

So you've got 34 cards left. (Not looking at PETM / Draw / Buffer Piece etc )
You're discarding 4 cards a turn. So you can live 8-9 turns. That means you're dealing about 560 - 630 DMG which relies on set-up and coin-flip.

600 dmg isn't enough in a metagame where GG and Magmortar are dominating. (GG 130 - 110 HP and Magmortar healing with body + potions)

I don't think that this works (only my oppinion^^)

well, it does work.
it does work, on paper and off paper.
if you get down to numbers like that then yea i guess it doesnt seem like it would work.
have you acctually tried the deck?
because i strongly suggest you, and anyone else who thinks that it doesnt work, go build a list, even if its on appr. or something, and test it out. youll see that it does work.
youre also forgeting that 5 of those 6 will eventually be drawn before wining the game, so theres another 5 cards to discard.

it works.
