srsly though dawg i think that you need to rethink yo deck decision man, lyk flygon ex and kingdra ex? what they got in common besides being hecka ugly? uh yeah datz right. BEING AN EX (sorry for being in caps) ex equals if im not mistaken (and i am lotz of times mayn..) is 2 prizes so 3 dead that is equal to you losin mayn. and dun forget about them starters or claydol or whateve if they knock them out mayn....you get my drift ya heard?

its annoying as **** to read that.

now, what they have in common is that they both reduce damage.
lots of damage.
kingdra reduces 10 for each one, you should have two out so thats 20
you can discard up to 4 cards from your hand so thats another 40, making the total 60
it has resistance to gallade, the most popular card at the time, and its pre DP so its resistance it 30, making the total 90.
plus odds and ends like drakes stadium, buffer piece, leftovers, super scoop up, and even potion make it so you never die.

it doesnt really matter how many prizes they draw if it never dies.

oh, and neither of them are ugly.
theyre both way cool dragon things.

He was talking about how Magmortar takes care of a Salamence ex not how Flygon ex does. And you don't even need Delcatty ex really. You can hit it once with a normal Delcatty and Magmortar can take care of it from there despite resistance.

What the heck are you talking about? Look on the deck forum, almost all lists play it. Congrats, you managed to defeat yourself in an arguement in about... 3 secs. Thats gotta be a record, you even beat my "No Cessasion Crystal" "Yes Cessasion Crystal" silliness out. No doupt you are very proud of this achievement.

any time Delcatty Ex (or pretty much any Ex) is posted in any deck, not just magmortar. The first thing someone (not just you) reply is:

"That's an easy 2 prizes for Magmortar, since it can snipe it on the bench."

I have never replied that. And you obviously simply don't play it if your facing mirror. People post comments like that without thinking, and don't bother to try and correct that mistake later, so what? I saw one guy saying that Beedrill is the play with Dialga lv x, you simply don't listen to everything everyone posts unless the person actually put some thought into the post.
 
what hurricanewarty said is right.
they dont even need the delcatty ex to ko either of them.
powering the energy draw delcatty for a couple of turns does great, trust me.
you might think otherwise because of its poop attack, but it can really be a jerk when youre weak to it and they can get so many energys on it so fast.

pracice what you preach. You always have a plan for EVERY situation, you will always seem to thik you will have that warp point in your hand with TSD and a candy with 2 bench Typhlosions. I realize that mr. Fire "truk"(wat an LOL name) is a good deck but, you make it sound like you will always have what you need, when you need it. WRONG!!!

Salamence EX eats Magmortar up!!!
 
salamence would eat magmortar, but i just see it having problems seting up against mag.
i know that if i were playing mag, and my opponent was powering up a benched bagon/shelgon or whatever, i would be sure to kill them, even if it ment using the 2 fires with flame bluster.

its not like you can just rare candy and scramble.
its going to take 4 turns at the LEAST to power it up.
and a mag player could probably stop that from happening fairly easy.

i dont know for sure, just my opinion.

The best way to plan ahead is to mearly be ready for everything
News flash, I am quite capable of thinking on my feet, and very good at throwing a strategy together and work around a disadvantage. By the time you get a Flygon δ ex setup, I will have already set myself up (you and I both know Fire Truk is faster than Flygon is if both get good starts, so don't give me any garbage with "I found a way to be faster than a stage 1 deck", you aren't that silly). If you think I won't Scramble a Delcatty and say EAT THIS you are sadly mistaken. Delcatty ex wins me the game, but even without it Magmortars high damage potential will easily cut through Salamence's resistance (220 damage from two Mag shots is hardly unreasonable)

DUDE,your really underestimating a deck you've most likely never played(with a good list at least)
first off, fire truk does not play tsd.
second,selamence ex d does not "eat up" fire truk.
w/e your energy accelerator in salemence is,it will always benefit me.
if you use altaria ex....then your just bad.

who says that resistence always matters??
fire truk can go sniping your salemence line while its on the bench getting powered up.
and when it does get powered up, i just use typlhosion and start discarding your waters.
 
^Just saying I have never tested Salamence and it seems easy but after I've thought about it, its getting harder. The only reason you dont think so is that its a rogue deck.
