After playing in my first battle road, I can safely say that Machamp won't own any G-free format. Cards like Beedrill, and even Flygon can definitely stand up to Machamp and beat it. Of course SP decks will be unplayable.

Not really, they'll just be forced to run a ToxiTank line.

Toxitank doesn't stand up to Machamp. Warp Point + Metagross and Machamp will Take Out everything but your Toxicroak, or it will just level up and Hurricane Punch it out of the field. Really, SP doesn't stand up to Machamp at all.
