IMO cessation is a big waste in this deck,

lanturn is pretty good if played right but if i told you how to play it i'd have to kill you lol
 
imo lanturns a waste look at the pokemon that need a dre to attack (everything but breloom )and i think you'd rather be hitting with a dre on whishcash for a constant amount of damage then discarding dre just to do 80 once or maybe twice in a row because theres no way to get your DRE back (or scramble)

is it really worth discarding?

anyways 2 suggestions as to what can take its place

Just curious, but why a 4 corners if there is a 8 corners available.
If it's about hitting your opponent's weakness I would say Garchomp can do that better as any other Pokemon.

Garchomp can't play on weakness , it just has a body that adds 40. Its a slow stage 2 pokemon that can't use dre/scramble and requires another stage 2 to power it up. Its not worth looking at until Chomp lvX comes out.
 
I think the reason gyarados was not orignally put into the deck was because you need damage on you to be able to do anything a magmortar player could easily just not attack the gyarados making it utterly useless unless you want to dump four energies on it and hope they don't kill you before that happens

also the 30 hp basic doesnt help (could you imagine losing turn one to voltorb :p )

Alakazam kills togekiss hard core....

They may not have caught on to that where you are at, but it is gonna see a ton of play here...

What do you mean? We have seen Alakazam coming and going, maybe in this format it will be handy, but it wasn't before.
Also Garchomp can be build by hand also, it doesn't rely only on Togekiss only.
 
The funny thing is that even before this thread went completely off topic, people weren't even talking about the list in OP :lol:
