Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

future decks

ROFL. Ok then, let's pretend it's not good. Shall we go ahead and put the latest theme decks on that list? :rolleyes: RockBand is one of the fastest decks I have ever played against. Not only do they hit you EASILY for 90-120 early and hard, killing one means they only lose 1 energy and can simply NM/TSD it back asap. They can also pretty much tech in any kind of stadium as well as Cessation.

Seriously. And you just copy pasted my list and cut out the rest, LOL. Weakkkkkkk.

Also to the dude/chick above me: If you're not going to at least dignify us with a legitimate response, then don't even post, seriously.

First of all I copy and pasted some part of ure list is bescause some of them make sense. SO instead of writing the whole thing over i save some time.......

Rockband : I cant find how u would do 90-120 early on unless u have a GOD HAND! By GOD HAND you are having rare candy one after after another. LOL Omastar will **** you!!!!! Shoot I let u kill my fist one then just scramble my way to spread damges then Omastar w/ Wager.... GOOD GAME SIR

lol
any good rockband deck can easily set up 3 or 4 Beedrills by T3.
It's actually really easy.

I've been pondering the Fire/Grass/Water popularity myself. From what I understand, fire was big at regionals, but everyone is talking about Empoleon and Glaceon nowadays. At the local prerelease though, Leafeon was the card everyone wanted. Grass is my favorite type, but I doubt I'll get my hands on any Leafeon Lv. X by the time Battle Roads starts. Even if I do, I could get burned bad by all the fire decks.

But what if fire decks no longer run rampant because of fear of Empoleon? I built a water deck I liked, but it would get creamed by a grass deck, specifically Leafeon. A Leaf Guard with Buffer Piece reduces water attacks by 60.

So what will be bigger? Fire or Water? I don't think it will be Grass.

Water. Have you SEEN the excitement with Empoleon? Have you tried Empoleon?
There's Glaceon too, but that's not as problematic due to being harder to swarm.

Whereas Fire has... Magmortar? Ho-oh? Both of which are easilly killed by Empoleon?

Majestic Dawn's got such OBVIOUS counters to Fire... It's making Grass look much more appealing by the minute. Weakness advantage over Kabutops/Omastar... Pre-evolutions Resisting Empoleon... NEGATING Empoleon Spread... Fast Energy and still able to Crystal Beach... Energy Manipulation... Yep. Torterra/Sceptile looks fairly cool.

New decks:
* Empoleon & friends
* Infernape variants
* Torterra + Sceptile
* Eevolution based decks
* Kabutops & friends

Decks that have a strong shot at winning
* G&G - still the best until it can consistantly get taken down
* Beedrill - for reasons stated above though I have concerns about the Empoleon matchup
* Empoleon - it's amazing
* Skittles - Super fast but has a bad empoleon matchup

Longshot decks (good but usually have some sort of issue with the other good decks):
* Infernape
* Scepile & Friends
* Eevolutions
* Magmortar
* Garchomp
* Arithmetic

I'm also expecting some metal decks (Sizor, Magnezon, & maybe Aggron or Bastidon) to start showing up if fire dies down like I think it will.

Not a problem. RockBand is on average a turn faster and much more consistent. Emp also has the magic 130 HP which it was designed to beat. The problem matchup for RockBand is Skittles but an experience RockBand player should be able to get it to a favorable matchup, barring turn 2 Serene Grace of course.

And it won't be a popular deck, but wherever it shows up it will most likely do well, especially in heavy GG fields.

i honestly think it'll be emp glace hitting it off on B-roads
and maybe mag but emp can knock out with no prob and of course garch =^_^=

Man, what is with this and Beedrill? Beedrill is like Skittles, good, speedy archetype that is not in the top 3.

I would say GG, then Empoleon, then Eeveelutions and then your Skittles, Beedrill and Fossils.
