Gengar Lv.X Question and News??

or they guard absol X, and either spray or mesprit your power...
 
T-tar, Giratina and Dusknoir are slow with attacks that need at least 2 or 3 energies. And i you use that 2 energy attack from dusknoir you need to have a lot of damage on dusknoir. Gengar can start hitting for 60 damage with only one energy. Along with Gengar lvx it can spread for only 3 energies while you can first start using Shadow room.

Yes and that could mean the end of Crobats in Gengar! I mean Shadow Room Uxie, Claydol, Crobat G, then Damage Pain for 3 Prize Cards in One turn mabye more if your opponnet has two claydols, or two uxies, on the bench!
 
This is gonna be soooo good in the Team Spread SD! its gengar with some spread(thats the secret part). i was really hoping that the tranlsaltions from last week were right, snd they were!
 
Its prolly a 5/10 the lv down power is decent helps beat down flygon x by helping with the KO by getting rid of the extra HP

It's funny because my rogue I'm goign to be running this season couldn't OHKO Gengar SW but it can OHKO the level X, even with a power belt. :lol: It can also OHKO Flygon, lock InfeRay, and fluidly tech in Toxi G for Machamp.

I love this deck. :thumb:

Why do people think he is horrible? I mean with that Power and HP Boost it is good enough without the attack. I mean it is amazing in every way and will make a major difference. I seem to think it is 50/50 with people who like and dislike him but that is only my opinion.

I actually like the Theme Deck Gengar. Snipe is PERFECT for getting rid of Claydols and such that have been Guarded. Poison Jab is ugly since it potentially forces them to use their Unown Gs on their actives to avoid Poison damage. Additionally it’s useful in the mirror since it’s harder for the SF Gengar to Shadow Room.

The Curse Gengar is OK, with a nice power, but having a single PPC attack stinks.

The level X is nice, addressing one of Gengar’s main matchup weaknesses (Dialga G lv. X). However the attack has only limited synergy with any of the other Gengars. Folks have suggested Gallade 4 lv. X, but if it were me I would stick with Crobat Gs or another, non SP non lv. X spreader.

Limited synergy with any of the Gengars?? He does 30 to every pokemon with damage counters already on it, and both Gengars SPREAD!! Snipe does 40 and Roam does 30/60, seriously thats 70/90 damage to two pokemon then Bat Gs and Tombs only make this card even more better.
