Ah cool, I'd really like to come to ome of those ^^
err is it the saturday or the sunday? Because on the phone the guy(I forgot his name) he said it was Saturday the 5th 10 am opening...

Wow Im trying to think of what groups they'd work in, I think that giratena x with palkia might work... Or kingdra and Gallade 4 x... But I'm not sure on either combo... Which do you think is better? (or a better combo?)
I'll probably take out a 1-1 garchomp c x line for one of the x's and take out some TSS's for the other but I'm not sure...
I really like Gallade 4 x... Its my favourite there but I'm not sure if I can fit it in with the other x's/primes... :(

Oh cool thanks ^^ I might get some packs and see if I can pull things if I can't trade for them...

I really want to add that crobat/poketurn line... I just don't know what to take out for it if I'm adding the Lv x's... Hmmm

For me thats my record in any kind of game. In real tournaments my record is 4 and I have done that 3 times. The first time was a City Championship two years go where I was playing a Charizard/Hetran X deck and my opponent got stuck with a Hetran Active vs my SF T-tar deck. I used Spining tail three times in a row and took four prizes on one turn.
Then latter that year in the Grinder at Worlds I was playing a Plaika X Dialga X deck and I was playing Galade X/Giratina X, and in one turn I was able to level up the Gallade X and poketurn 3 times, then bring up a fully powered up Giratina x and then I used Spinning taile for 4 prizes in one turn. (My opponent was not angry at loosing that way, but congradulated me on pulling of such a fantastic move)

Then last year I was playing against a Shuppet donk deck, and I was running SF Gengar X with Azelf X and Cresselia X,
I had 4 lookers so the Shuupet players was never hitting me that hard and then I locked up a Crobat SP wit hAzelf and then moved the damage from crobat to the bench with my Cresselia X. I did this for like 6 turns in a row then I retreated for a fully powered up Gengar X and Damage evened for 4 prizes.

Side note the Shuppet donk player and the Charizard/Hetran player was the same person. What are the odds that you will take 4 prizes in one turn 3 times in real tourements and 2 of them would be the same person.

I have not yet played Gengar this year, I did play it last year in Cities, this year in battle roads I have played Steelix, Leafeon X/Roserade (Miasma Wind) and LA Mightyeana/Vilplume (beats SP decks looses to most everything else)
In cities I played Luxchomp with Garchomp SV/ Yanmeaga (owns the gyrados matchup and most other non SP's, Looses horribly to Vilegar and and deck with Luxray SP or Diaga SP X) and SF Dusknoir/Dialga SP X (did well with this deck, went 6-0 in Washington state championships two years ago with it and last year I took a T4 in a battle road, and this year I took a T4 and a 2nd place in cities with it)

It will be Andy you spoke to on the phone. I was told the 6th February but I can double check that on Tuesday. That would make it the Sunday.

Also there is a states chamionship in March. The date hasn't been confirmed as of yet, but it will almost definitely be a weekend. When I know more I'll let you know :)

Both will be good fun and you will get to see some competitive decks.

Just confirmed that the pre-release is on the Sunday. The store has other pre-releases on the saturday and we'd not all be able to fit in. No confirmed date for states yet but I will keep you posted. I'll be judging the pre-release so if you need any help just ask. :)
 
So are there two pokemon rereleases or is there just one on the Sunday? And other tcg prereleas on sat?

And wow I'm excited about states, I've asked around I can borrow an energy gain, Sp radar and maybe(not very likely a second BTS)

There is just one pre-release for pokemon, and thats on the Sunday. The other pre-releases are for other trading card games such as magic the gathering and yu-gi-oh. We just can't fit everyone in the shop :p
There is also a launch party for the set on the saturday following.(12th Feb i think). This is the same format of booster draft tournament as the pre-release and is the same price. This is good to come to if you can't make the pre-release or you want to get more cards from the set. I'll be judgng this as well :D:biggrin:

If you come to the pre-relase or launch party we can try and get you sorted with any cards you are missing. I know personally I have SP radars spare... not sure about energy gain or BTS tho. You WILL be ready for states :smile::tongue:

I know this is a nooby question but what ages are what? I'm 16 so does that make me seniors? Or masters?
 
No worries as I said the launch party is good for people who can't make the pre-release :)

Regarding age division the official rules go by the year you were born.
Our age divisions are:

Junior Division: Born in 2000 or later

Senior Division: Born in 1996, 1997, 1998, or 1999

Masters Division: Born in 1995 or earlier

This should help you dicipher which one you shall be placed in :)

Hey, I got ahold of that BTS and the third bebe's, err but is there anything specific I can bring sunday to trade for the vards I need? I worked it out and its about 19 cards... err I have a lv.X and a fan rotom, roserade gl and a holo or 2 more... but I dont know what else...

(i'm on my ipod again... )

Hi I've listed above what I have from your list to trade. The ones in bold are the higher trades for me. THe rest i don't use or have a few of.

My main wants at the moment are warp energies but i don't suppose you have any... not many people do :p

Other than that i'm after infernape 4 and the lv X. mismagius GL lv. X, dark arceus, gliscor (LA 05) and other random cards. Always after pokemon collectors reverse holo trainers and supporters etc, To be honest i'm sure we can find something tradeable.
 
You should try using all Gengar Primes. They can snipe as much as AR Gengar can, and they have more HP. Plus, you can spread the extra damage if needed. And who can forget his Poke-Body? It's a LostGar-esque idea, but it should work.

Errr I have none of those cards.. I do have a lightning and ground arceus...
But I do have some other playable and some rare cards that you might like... I hope lol
If I do trade for those cards I will only need nine cards as I've found a friend who has a Gallade 4(non Lv.x)...

It will be best to give yourself time to construct your deck and have time for trading :smile:

There was about 20 signed up on Tuesday I think, so should be a few there for trading

If you have any left to get following this I would suggest the trade boards on pokegym.

Err my friend is after 2 Snorlax Lv.X and one Drapion Lv.X but cant afford £20 each on the Internet, but he also has no cards... He only has one booster pack at the min... so if you or anyone there had the Lv.x's how much would you charge?
