In response to Keith's request for an update...I heard this morning at about 10:00 that the surgery this morning had been cancelled. I am sorry, I do not have any details. I have been checking about every hour to see if Steve has had a chance to post, but still nothing. John is tough, he will fight this thing...

I have no idea who either of you are, but I wish T_S well regardless.

He'll be in my prayers, as well the rest of your family.

John's the toughest guy I know. If anyone in the world can pull this out, it would be him.

Tell him that Me, Alex and Randy better will all be wishing the best for him. I better see you two at NC states!

You're missing out! He's pretty much the funniest player in the game, and one of the nicest too (he's helped alex and i out of many jams)

Again, thanks SO much for all the luv you all have shown me. Means more to me than i can ever
let you know.

Yes, my surgery got cancelled today. My surgeon said my colon was just too "hot" to go in w/ out
me having to deal with a colostomy bag( something that is just unnaceptable to me ).

Some good news. My white count is normal and the infection in my colon is getting better.I've
been in the hospital now for nine days w/ them pushing anti-biotics through an IV into me.And
i'm going home tomorrow morning :)

I will have to take more anti-biotics ( orally) for 3-4 weeks to totally clear up the infection, then i
will be having surgery to remove about 10 inches of dead tissue in my colon. Of course, this
will be done AFTER states weekend. Gotta have my priorities in order lolol

Please keep me in your prayers my friends. They mean the world to me and your all the best!!

You all know i'm a fighter and i'll get through this. Take care and GOD bless all of you.

God Bless You!

So glad to hear things are going along ok. Take your meds, and get well! Still keeping you all in our prayers.

That's great news John. I'm with you on the colostomy bag, but if it's a temporary thing you'd do ok with it.

I talked to a friend at work whose dad had about 12 inches of colon removed. Said it went really well for him. Here's hoping the same for you.

I'm from philly, but I'll say this just one time.

Prayin' for ya, John. I'd sure hate to lose a good rival, and so would the rest of Florida. Hope you make it in time for States.
