This is his ebay: http://myworld.ebay.co.uk/cadivand101?_trksid=p2047675.l2559

He's a scumbag that sends out 20 random lot cards with a chance of getting super rares.

LOL he has 100% rating... but giving a negative won't do a thing.

This thread gets more and more ridiculous by the day...

OP, if we assume everything you've said so far is true, you still need to take the high road here. Posting this person's personal details on a public site is a bad idea, as it is still your word against his/hers. As has been recommended several times, you should file for your country's equivalent of mail fraud. Then let your nation's legal system sort it out. Posting the details here only will result in the court of public opinion, which has no power.

I agree completely. This thread is indeed getting more ridiculous everyday

Also Please tell us what you lost. I'm very curious how it's $1500 in value.

I wouldn't even consider the bus..

Are you too high and mighty for public transportation? Last time I checked, you were the one who got cheated out of $1.5k. I don't think you are in a position to be making snooty decisions like this. I don't know about the UK, but in America, there is not one place I wouldn't go via public transportation to settle a $1.5k deal, and that's saying something.

I think you need to tell your parents, seeing as apparently you are under 18. They will help you out majorly with this transaction. I'm sure your dad will take a few hours to drive you around to fix a $1,500 scam. THAT'S A LOT OF MONEY. Unless of course you just have this kind of money sitting around in your sock drawer, then no big deal.

Seriously though, reading this thread makes me sick. I don't see why people keep trying to help you. This thread needs to get locked. Nothing is going on except people trying to help, you ignoring them or shutting them down, and then them responding with criticism.

You lost $1.5k, and if you don't want to get off your lazy rear end and try and fix it through the legal system or a personal visit, then sucks to suck.

I think this really didn't happen... I think he has some beef with this guy.. Anyone can throw 5 random cards and write Hi Marco112, thanks for the buy, leave a good feedback.. Anyone can post an ebay user account.

Jesus Christ.. How does it have twists and turns? It's simple story. Also, if you read the thread before posting you'd see he has an account here.

I hope one of you that's moaning all the time gets scammed by him so you shut your mouths for a bit.

Yet you have failed to provide his username, and therefore cannot help any of us out (which you are attempting to do). Also, if you did in fact find out his username, you should post about this in the "Check a Trader" thread, not the Collecting and Card Price Discussion forum.

Which one of us is moaning? May I remind you that you are the one that posted this topic in the first place, complaining about how you were scammed of an absurd amount of memorabilia. All anyone on this topic has done is try to help you. Yet you insist on adding more stuff into the equation or criticizing those attempting to help you, when the solution is simple (and not to mention has been stated numerous times).

To sum it up (and hopefully bring some peace to this topic), here is what you need to do:

1. Contact your local authorities to see if anything can be done about your current situation. Due to the fact that it was a trade, and you did not include tracking/DC, the answer will probably be that they cannot help you. Either way, you should still look into that as a possible solution.

2. Avoid contact/trading with this guy altogether; no if, and's, or buts. He scammed you, and will more than likely block communication anyways if he hasn't already. Best to lick your wounds and hope that karma will get this guy further down the road.

3. Stop attempting to post his info on this site. Everyone here follows a strict set of rules, and scammers are found out quickly, and dealt with quickly.

4. Next time be a little more hesitant when trading a substantial amount of cards (or anything for that matter). I believe anything above $20 should constitute some form of caution when it comes to trading, whether it be on this site or another.

This is just my opinion but I think the op should just learn from what has happened he is not willing to or does not want his money back since all he is doing is just posting here, I have been ripped off three times when it comes to pokemon cards each and every time it happened I left a couple of of emails filed a report with local authorities and I learned that sometimes you have to deal with people

Okay, this thread is getting way out of hand now.

Things including posting peoples names and places they live in that context is definitely not on.

Gonna go through and do some cleaning up.
