Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

Gold and Silver Remake?! EDIT: NOW CONFIRMED.

How about this for an additional space?

Orange Islands!!!

Fans have been clamoring for this area to come out pretty much ever since it premiered on the anime, and it just looks like good, FUN minigames to break up the tedium of battling all the time...

OMG this would make so much sense! instead of the kanto region they could have this, it would be cool to have kanto but i think they will go with this instead.

Resurrect Hoenn and all of its glory so they don't need to remake Ruby and Sapphire.

3 Regions? That would own. You don't need to put Sinnoh in there just yet, because its got its own game, but maybe some form of connectivity to DPPt?

Orange Islands would be awesome since the Gym Battles were mini games.

I always had weird feelings for G/S. There were a lot of Pokémon from this generation that I still love (Houndoom, Scizor and Espeon)... though I liked Cyndaquil, these were my least favorite starters... none of them are dual-types! Aprikorns were fun to get Pokéballs made.

Orange Islands would be cool. I don't know about mini-games, but I like battling Leaders that don't stick to one type. Vs. a Gengar and a Dragonite!

The only thing that sucks about the Orange Islands is that there are 4 gyms, and one of them was just a simple Double Battle. However, the sharpshooting, Ice sled construction and Race, and target practice and Dancing gyms seem interesting to be made into minigames. Orange Islands could also bring back Dive as a usable HM as opposed to the useless Defog.

Getting back to the Johto Region, does anyone else think the part where you're in the Team Rocket base in Mahogany Town will spawn a "true" tag battle. You know, where Lance teams up with the player (you) to help battle the two rocket admins. That'd be cool. Although if Lance uses his Dragonite, it maybe underleveled to even the odds.

Pokemon Gold is still my single favorite Pokemon game out of all of them. Platinum has some interesting thoughts floating around. But Gold was my first brush with speed running a game, and I got pretty darn good at it (sub-4-hours through Red). I wonder if there will be any translation changes, such as changing the names of Blue and Red to Gary and Ash...
no, it should be green and red (i read the japanese versions of the manga, and i really don't like it when people say that blue is the rival, while it really is green.) and in a lot of the things that the CPUs say, i think i might be the only one noticing this, but they say stuff about different things in jhoto, like the whirl islands and the twin tower. this might be another hint that there is going to be a game remake.

It would be awsome if they brought Gold + Silver back. I can raise a Mareep to my favorite pokemon Ampharos.

Ampharos!! use Thunderpunch now!! :)

you're right that would be fun as long as they dont make the "you need friends to play these mini games"

Actually, Pokemon Citrine Online is already doing that as we speak...
Just to let everyone know please, do not tell them you heard it from me =x

I would mind if they did put Celebi in the game, my extremely rare Celebi would then be worthless that I got back in 06...

That is the best idea I have ever heard that would be a lot of fun (a lot better than the stupid contest)

That would be very cool! Can they fit that much on those little game carts?

Since the DSi has room for an SD card, they cuold potentially do it, you'd just need an SD and of course that would mean making the game DSi only. I'd totally do it all.

That would totally suck. If they remade G/S it would be awesome, but i will never buy DSi only to play it.

I was talking more for a universal pokemon game with multiple, possibly even EVERY region to date. I've really been wanting to see something like this that's online, say for the wii, where you can choose which region to start off in and then go off on your adventure through your regions gym circuit and elite four, eventually getting to a point somewhere that lets you travel to other regions around the world. The online capabilities, imo, paired with the bulk of so much content that we've never seen before would probably push sales ridiculously high. I know I'D pay a mint for something like that.
But back on track, I just wanted to state that since the DSi has a built in SD stick slot, the possibilities for games that need more space is amazing, and it would be cool to see this proven with some mega pokemon adventure. They could even pair regions together and release two versions with one of the two sets.

Since Gold and Silver are different ppl with different stories, it would be cool if Gold and Silver had different storylines to show the different characters.

Why would they do all the regions?
G/S had only the Johto and Kanto regions, so don't see the point in remaking it and putting all the regions in.

Heck it wouldn't even be wise for them, since the would do more money if they released them in seperate games.

"To get everything out of RSE/FRLG/DPP you need a DS or DS Lite. To play HGSS, a DSi is required."

Yeah... no.
