Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

Groundbreakers set list? Confirmed!

Who is "the LD" ??? I didnt get to buy the Pokemon TFG the first time it came around to Australia, and i dont want to miss out the second time around !
If its the LD people making the decisions, i want to try and change their minds! Hopefully they realise there is new packaging (without the poor collation - which would probably have turned a lot of people off) and the pokemon all have spinners now which might make it more attractive to people to buy again.

LD = Local Distributor
Australia's LD is Croftminster.

It's really unlikely that foreign countries will buy anytime soon the new TFGs, even if the 2nd expansion has been already translated a looong time ago.
This is due to the big flaws of the INTL release, which has all been fixed thanks to th INTL people's advices, for US release.
Of course, as people here lost a lot of money for this product, they don't want to take risk again. It's a shame, those new figures are really nice, and the game itself has a potential.

Important point of fact. There is no translation here. The original language of release for the TFG is English. There has yet to be a Japanese release of even the Next Quest set, to my knowledge.

Jigglychu, all that is from the instruction booklet? Geez.

As for "linked to", my guess is that it means adjacent to. Does the booklet bother to explain that one?

Or possibly adjacent :lightning pokemon and :lightning pokemon adjacent to those and so on ( why else would it say linked instead of adjacent?)

good to finally see a use for the types.

I guess it means adjacent...

Yes, that is from the booklet, but it dosent just say all that, I looked at their example pictures to get infor for Armaldo, Mewtwo, Elekid, and Slaking.

30 degrees: Miss
90 degrees: Selfdestruct ***: Geodude and the Defending Pokemon are knocked out.

So Latias is like Latios but way worse, Geodude is like Absol but more meh-ish, and Mightyena is actually somewhat decent.

Hi, all, yes, I purchased my Skydive starter at Wal-Mart 11/15/2007. I apologize if I was the one that misspelled "Flaafy"--my hands were literally shaking when I wrote that article to Pojo as I couldn't believe what I had in hand! I don't own a PC or digicam, hence the articles I've been writing for Pojo.com/pokemon for the last 2.5 years are really lo-fi; but, Pojo knows he can trust me, I shop DAILY to bring the news of where to buy for kids and their parents to avoid paying many times retail pricing on e-Bay. I am happy to see someone posted a scan of the package back. When I wrote to PUSA a few weeks ago, all they said was there was a set "in development." When I found the pack, I was shocked; later, learning that distributors had been solicited for a 12/14 (approx.) release. I even called a local game shop for info. I'm not sure if Wal-Mart put the sets out early; you see, locally, I've met the Excell Distributor rep. (he stocks Target but NOT Wal-Mart) and HE puts the merch. out at the three different Targets where I've bumped into him (he must think I'm stalking him! ;D). Therefore, I wonder who did the deed, the distributor or the store... Tho' I'm not complaining, 'twas indeed a nice holiday surprise! Anyhow, if you want shopping tips that you can trust, please feel free to check Pojo.com because I report what I see on my daily trips; I'm commited to bringing fans the info they need to get the best deals by revealing what stores stock what to the best of my ability (I live in a city with 1,000,000 in the metro area and we're usually used as a test market). If you live in a smaller town, you may end up on e-Bay or toy dealer site and have to pay more; but, I'm just trying to even the playing field... :) Happy shopping and great holidays! L.
