From the Pokebeach translations of the JPN Black and White set . . .

Pokemon Catcher
Trainer’s – Goods

Choose 1 of your opponent’s Benched Pokemon, and switch it with his or her Active Pokemon.

You can use any number of Goods cards during your turn.

Never say never when it comes to reprints . . .

I posted about this in the Gust of Wind thread, haha.

We're also getting Energy Removal 2 and Revive, as well as a Pokemon Communication reprint. :D

Before anyone complains, I think it's important to remember that the usefulness/terribleness/playability/brokenness of all cards is relative to the format that they're being played in. We don't know what kind of modified environment will exist upon the release of these cards. Speculating will surely ensue, but as always: the sky is not falling.

I hope they call it Gust of Wind. Then I can use all of my original cards from Base Set.

After looking at the comments in the GOW thread in the Card Strategy forum, and reviewing the all the translations for the BW set (mainly the Trainers), I think I'll use one of my favorite Star Wars quotes,

"I have a bad feeling about this."

Oh, it's just a functional reprint. They certainly aren't going to change a card's name from the Japanese version, except for language of course. Unless there is a precedent for it that I'm unaware of? Either way, wouldn't count on it.

Some weeks ago, I said to my friends: "Just a matter of time before they reprint GoW". Obviously, I was kidding.

Today, I go online, only to find out that it really got reprinted.

IS THIS FOR REAL?! Why are they doing that...

to make up for the loss of luxray.
This is actually making me further believe that they will to a mid-season rotation.

When we sort our old cards. Old Trainers and Energies go in one box, old pokemon go into the trash. I just hope the word it so the old one is legal. I love playing 10+ year old cards in decks.

I also like the Alakazam reprint by the way.

But yeah, GOW reprint? I'm gonna stock up on those Gothic Tower Lolis...

I really don't see why people are having a big problem with this gust of wind reprint. It is basically just a Luxray in every deck now, and it is fair since everyone will be able to use it, unless it is a trainer lock deck...

I am too in the boat with the hopes of using the original Gust of Wind in my decks. I am thouroughly excited for the Black and White era of cards.
