Heatran LvX and Moltres

Well this thread really needs to get back on track.
This was opened for Moltres and Heatran.

Now its just becoming an argument about
Heatran and Rapidash vs Kingdra.

Heatran LV.X just is too good to be used just for Moltres IMO.

But......since the point made by people, the discussion lost track of the original topic....

I think it would need some Plus Power and Buck's going on. Even with the 100 damage per turn output, it can't touch high HP Pokemon, especially with Snow Point Temple in play.

Also, Psychic Bind and Psychic Lock can hurt... You might want to be prepared for that as well.

I think Heatran LvX and/or Moltres are two cards that may see usefulness if grass decks became the play, but as we are not getting Shaymin and Kingdra still reigns, it's not their time yet. 100 damage needs so much support techs to KO things in one turn it isn't worth it.

Bingo. I would add a Houndoom or something that burns to take advantage of Heatrans other power.
my magmortar deck is going benefit huge from this heatran.

And... the thing that people don't see is that Heatran X puts a different type of deck into the mix..

not a speed deck..
not a heavy hitter deck..

but.. an ENDURANCE DECK ..
It sets up and just POUNDS AND POUNDS and races you to the end of the 6 prizes with a rapid fire (pun intended :biggrin of steady attacks...

It's going to be BEASTLY to come up against the number of Heatran X combos at cities...
