Highest Damage Dealt

Hey, just for fun I wanted to see how high I could calculate damage to go. See if you can beat my situation

Machamp X with 140 damage on it, using Rage against something with x2 weakness to fighting, thus doing 520 damage. Add on 4 plus powers and a Buck's training and you get a grand total of 570. Is more damage possible?

First i Put out 4 Crobat=40 dmg
then 4 poketurn=80 dmg
attacking with Gengar's poltergiest on opponents Toxicroak G, they have 30 T/S/S in their hand so:
30*30=900
600+80 is 980
No Flips:p

Rayquaza ex vs Rayquaza ex
Allowing for there to be one prize remaining in this scenario. Player A attaches a multi energy to his or her Rayquaza ex DR which already has 57 fire energy on it and proceeds to attack with Dragon Burst thus doing 58x40x2=4640 damage.

No, that would be wrong actually.

40 + 40 + 30*30*2 =1880

And I dont think anybody had like all his trainers in his hand lol

I think all these scenarios are ludicrous, so we might as well go with the most ridiculous ones :)

Infernape discarding 57 fire energys against a grass pokemon while lake boundary is in play and hits all heads.
57*80*2 = 9120

Unfortunately, all that damage would go to waste as you are given a game loss for playing with a 61 card deck. :D

MT Magikarp with 4 Pluspowers, 4 Special Darks, 35 basic Darks, 1 Strenght Charm, 4 Buck's in play via 3 Porygon 2s, a Weavile on bench, and a Darkrai Lv.X on bench. So 60 + 40 + 40 + 350 + 10 + 40*2 = 1080 damage. I think my math is right. Magikarp is good after all.

Nope! If you Download Buck's Training, you don't get the +10 damage modifier.

Relevant ruling from the Compendium:

Q. If I use Gardevoir's "Telepass" to copy an opponent's "Buck's Training", would I get the added +10 attack bonus or not, since "Buck's Training" is not actually next to my Active Pokemon?
A. Good point! In this case since the opponent's Buck's Training is in the discard pile you would get to draw 2 cards but you would NOT get the added +10 attack bonus. (Aug 28, 2008 PUI Rules Team)

Well thanks for ruining Magikarp's fun.

Heres a good one.

Gengar with 4 + power + Bucks + vs 1 Machop with 59 trainers in opponents hand.

Total damage taken by Machop: 3640

Caution, this won't just KO the Machop, it will incinerate it. Don't do this on any wooden tables, and make sure to have a fire extinguisher on hand.

On a side note, I did 220 damage to a Dialga the other day (including resistence) with a gengar. :p

can i say that your qestion is stupid , because the best way to make mucjh damage is to play AMU
because at this way you really can make 200 damage much easier than your impossible examples

But our examples are more fun! ;)

That's besides the fact that this thread goes along with the whole "the gym has gone crazy" theme that we seem to have to day.

Okay here actually a relistic situation. Rhyperior x vs gigas x. Discard 5 energy of the top of the deck 500. Thats probaly the easist way to do that much damage. Also AMU hitting x2 weakness.

Add Lake Boundary (+3640-20) 4 Crobat, 4 Turn and 4 SSU flipping heads (+120) Drapion Lv. X (+30) and the Machop being Machamp Lv. X (+120) so that's 7510 damage. Lol.
