Nice Deck list.. but I am concerned about those longer games you will have and the ineffectiveness to reset your Main attacker. How about this:

Pokemon: 10

4 x Sableye SW
2 x Cranidos
4 x Rampardos MT

Trainers: 40

4 x Quick ball
3 x PlusPower
4 x Cessation Crystal
4 x Rare Candy
4 x Energy Search
3 x Pokedex *Handy910is*
3 x Great ball
4 x Skull Fossil
2 x Strength Charm
2 x Energy Restore
2 x Night Maintenance

3 x Fossil Excavator
2 x Professor Birch

Energies: 10

9 x Fighting Energy
1 x Scramble Energy

By adding the 2 Cranidos, I understand you might take an extra turn to setup the Rampardos, but you might be doing that anyway do to the nrg lag. Energy Search is helping, but if you go first a dont get the Sableye and an Energy, the no search firt turn so now you are behind IMHO. That is still an issue, but the occassion is 45-50 % of the time.

By adding Cranidos, you get something that can do some damage soon and also after burning the candies early game, you can setup on the bench Mid to late game! With no DRE, the quick 100 is limited and it takes minimum 3 turn to setup Rampardos! So an early start with salbeye is nice, but it can be flippy if you dont get the right trainers.

I added Excavator for a couple of reasons. Let say you go first and dont get the Sableye or nrg card, you cna start wiht the Fossil and at least have achance of adding some damage if they hit you! If you go second, you can start wiht a fossil if need and then Great Ball a Sableye, discard the fossil and if you have it in your hand, Excavate the fossil back to the bench! It is a chance, but worth it in this deck list!!

I added Birch basically cuz you need it! Copycat is nice, but dpeendaent on your opponent! Birch on the other hand was born for these style decks. Burn most if not all the trainers out of your hand then Birch for 6! At least you get the chance for additional Trainer Burn and it works like a champ in here!!

I am concerned about the energy, but you seem to have a good handle of things! DRE would be nice to hit for that quick 90 early on, but where to fit it in is difficult! Good Luck a nice ORIGINAL DECK!!

So, if you have two of either the fossil, Rampardos or Rare Candy prized you are stuck with 2 fighters until you happen upon one? Or am I missing something? Seems like Fossil Excavator is a must to let you recycle. But without Cranidos you are limited by how many RC you can use. Even if one is prized you might have to fight the whole game with 3 pokes. Night Maintenance and TSD might not be the play either.

You're slightly missing the point of the deck, rummage 'till about turn 4 then you should send the first Rampardos out and keep attacking for 100 damage (Or more) from that turn on. In this deck, once you send out a Rampardos turn 4 and stop the only pokemon you oppoonent has built up, it is hard for an opponent to build up new pokemon fast enough to come back (Crystal beach helps keep scramble away, and Cessation Crystal keeps your opponent from using powers to give their pokemon energy.) This deck should never even use all three Rampardos in a game that goes its way, even if the game doesn't go your way 1 or 2 Rampardos doing 100 damage (Or more with PlusPower) a turn should be enough to OHKO pokemon untill you can get another one up. :thumb:  :thumb:

MrMeches, I like your list alot! I only noticed 1 big problem, there is no ER2 in your list. ER2 is amazing in this deck as once you OHKO your opponents heavy hitter you can also stop your opponent from setting up another big pokemon on their bench. That and it needs 1 more PlusPower (Even if you take out a strength charm.)

I took them out to make some room for the middle or later area. Here is another idea you could try out... it could be ok as well!

Pokemon: 9

4 x Sableye SW
1 x Cranidos
4 x Rampardos MT

Trainers: 39

4 x Quick ball
3 x Great ball
3 x PlusPower
3 x Cessation Crystal
4 x Rare Candy
3 x Energy Search
3 x Pokedex *Handy910is*
3 x PokeNav
4 x Skull Fossil
2 x Energy Restore
2 x Night Maintenance

3 x Fossil Excavator
2 x Professor Birch

Energies: 12

9 x Fighting Energy
2 x DRE
1 x Scramble Energy

This gives you the chance at getting the 90 discussed before!! I know it is tight, but I think you could benefit form them in the ealrier setup more than the ER2!

greenzangoose, is your name josh?

Yea. Greenzangoose is the name I use on all my stuff (Unique enough it's never taken) Hey, is your name... Adam?   Hope you do good at the CC this weekend if I'm not there, or at least second place if I am there.

What happens when it gets obliterated turn 2?

There are four Sableye in the deck, with 60 HP each. If your deck can OHKO my Sableye by turn 2, my deck will not do very good against it early game (Hence why the deck works so badly Vs. 2Turn Tune and Banette.)

Good job.

Greenzangoose,

I have always enjoyed your deckbuilding prowness and watching you play also. We hope to see ya at the Caldwell City Championships and I look forward to playing you at the Ontarion cities too.
