Honchkrow Disruption (Dark Wing Duck?)

You don't need the Berry-one because you won't use the effect that often, and if you attack with that one, it's got -10HP than all of the other Murkrows. But having 2 Honchkrow Lv.Xs is a good idea. Try that.

take out:
1 basic dark
1 pro. birch
1 strength charm

add in:
1 celios
2 buffer piece
now murkrow may survive longer

a little question about the name of this deck:

why this deck is call "Dark wing duck"??

The deck don't have a "duck", Honchkrow is a Crow, not a duck.

My contribution is:

-1 prof birch
-2 windstorm
-1 energy removal 2
+3 cessation crystal
+1 wager

1.its a DARk pokemon 2.It resembles a duck, the duck from the DWD,so they call it Dark Wing Duck cuz of those similarities.

3 Murkrow MT
1 Murkrow SW
2 Honchkrow MT
2 Honchkrow Lv.X
1 Umbereon *
4 Absol SW

works alot better since Lv.X is the better attacker.

We had 1 SW Murkrow in the initial version of the deck, but it never seemed to do much, is its berry ability really worth it?

Also, I can see how the 2nd Honchkrow Lv.X could be worth it, but again, is it necessary? This one's basically a question of money, I don't wanna have to pick up another one if I don't have to, but if it would REALLY help the deck, I will

Alright, here's my friend's deck that he has built. Yes, we know that Claydol counters this badly, but that's why we're looking for help, plus, he already has all of the cards. Is there anyway at all this deck could work? or are there any suggestions you have for it?

One thing he's thinking of is teching in a 1-1 Mightyena ex line. Driving Howl works nicely to shuffle out annoying active Pokemon, as well as stuff with Cessation Crystal and if it comes down to it, Hyper Claws isn't a bad attack, since it hits Gardevoir, Gallade, Typhlosion and other random Stage 2s for a 90 damage (Easily 100+ with the Pluspowers and Strength Charms). Is this a good idea? What would you take out for it?

Thanks in advance for any suggestions you guys have

bolded the problems I noticed...

And what would that problem be? The Pluspowers are necessary since the deck has such low damage output, and I like having 4 for consistency (Same with the ER2s). If you have any other suggestions though, or why less of them would work, or if cutting them would work, then I'd like to know what else I could use.

The ER2s have been great for me so far, it's always nice taking out a key DRE or Scramble, not to mention stuff like Holon FF or other random things. Flipping isn't a problem, I'll take the chance since I can get disruption without using a Supporter.

I'm not so sure what's wrong with the single Birch, but it's been cut in many people's suggestions, so I'd like to know if it's a bad choice. It's a very nice topdeck usually, and helps in recovering if I happen to lose a Wager.

I can see Claydol working, but in my opinion, it would take away too much of the straightforwardness of the deck, which is what drew me to the archtype in the first place. I would have to spend valuable portions of my Mentors or Celio's in order to search out both Baltoy and Claydol, either of which could easily be prized if I ran a 1-1 line.

Also, I wanna apologize if it seems as if I'm rejecting everyone's ideas without giving them any consideration. I've played this deck a great deal and know what works and what doesn't. I'm more than willing to listen to the suggestions of others, just as long as they provide a reason, or at least some semblance of an idea as to why the change could work. I've already gotten plenty of help from people so far (I love the Cessation Crystals - Eat it Gardevoir/Typhlosion/ETC!) so thanks again for anything you can give a hand with.

the 2nd LvX is necessary.Being about to snipe and gain discard access while using Cessation is priceless and is needed in this deck. SO for DWD sake, add another Lv.X,and adding in SW Murkrow can help with a quick Honchkrow setup since u need it early game and often to win any matchup

Well I made it out to a local shop today and had a chance to play this deck against some of the field. It's W-L record wasn't too impressive, but it put up a quite a fight and I had a ton of fun playing it.

I was also able to make some trades, so now there's a few changes to the decklist (Thanks to MadHatter for trading me a 2nd Lv.X as well as a bunch of other cool stuff =D )

-1 Murkrow MT
+1 Murkrow SW

-1 Honchkrow
+1 Honchkrow Lv.X
