Houston, Texas Pokemon TCG & VGC Regional Championships - April 14 & 15, 2012

Amazing as always M&M!! Great 1st tournament back in a Year!!

Was fantastic seeing everyone from around the country.. so cool that they chose Texas!!

Now for Spring BRs then.......

I didn't end up finishing the entire tournament as I had bad luck, but I have NEVER EVER had so much fun, nor seen such a well run tournament. I had an amazing time. The judges were impressive and personable. Registration was beyond smooth. The venue fit everything so well.

My only complaint? The fun had to stop D:

On top of it being a pokemon weekend it ended up being a VERY very important weekend for me personally as it's quite interesting what kind of self discovery can be brought on when you travel so far. Needless to say a pokemon tournament in texas may have been the deciding factor on moving there

Thank you :) I really would have and thought about it but I was very distracted during the majority of the tournament :/

So at Regionals one of the judges menitioned buying a spot on a charter bus to nats? If any one can let me know who to contact regarding info on this would be greatly appreciated :) thx!

Who's ready for 2012-2013 Regionals in Houston? Official announcement within the next 5 days, stay tuned. We're very close to signing on the dotted line to secure our venue and we'll announce the information once we do.
 
Will it be a Fall regionals?

Also, will there be any more pictures from the Regionals posted on the FB group?
 
Ahhhhh, Fall weather in Houston happens to be REALLY nice, wouldn't you say? Sure would be a nice time for Regionals. Something to think about isn't it?
