With the relese of heartgold and soulsilver many people got the games asore soon as they were in stores.
On that note i would like to start a thread where you can post your current party and some of the metionable pokemon you have gotten
 
as the title says how many ppl did u see at the game stop when u got my mom and dad went to get it for me :p cuz im lazy and they saw like 20 30 ppl there how many did u see?
 
me only one
A. it's sunday
B. we had an early launch at 9 am central
C. IT WAS SUNDAY
and D. IT WAS A CHUCH DAY

next time pokemon needs to keep sunday holy

The store I got mine at had sold 98 copies of the two games when I picked up my copies (which pushed them to 100 copies sold for the day).
 
true at 9 at some stores u can get the game and i didnt eat untell 12 ( i know im odd ) church i know i do stuff i don't go to church any more :( cuz im busy i agree sat would have been a better day.

I thought Amazon would be shipping to arrive on Monday. Instead, it's still sitting around until the 19th. I didn't bother with fast shipping, so it'll arrive 2 weeks after release?

I'm prepping my "cancel order" finger.
 
Didn't see anybody for Pokemon, but there were at least 30 non-Preorders behind the counter, and idk how many that I couldn't see. The preorder sheet that they had to verify for the figurines was two pages long.
 
There was an enormous line of 10yos in front of me. (Like 9 or so) I was more excited to finally get HG than all the 10yos combined. the guy behind the counter gave me a funny look as he handed me my HG.
 
None, but I went at about 7:30 PM (they close at 9 PM even on Sunday)...

BTW I have my Pokewalker on at work and it has above 3,000 steps...
 
The 4 people in front of me all bought at least 1 copy, then the person behind asked for a copy as well(He went while I was paying)
 
just got my 3rd badge, 33 quilava, 17 flaffy, 19 nidorino, 20 sudowodo, and two blanks. i've caught all the pokes but no clue who will be there later one

though i pre-ordered, I wont pick up my copies until tomorrow (Tuesday) - had to wait til my pay check cleared - yaaay!! I'll let you know the numbers tomorrow...

Ummm there were about 10 people in the store and they were all there for Pokemon. My sister said no one was there when she got hers since she went earlier that day. I was at my cousin's until about 1 PM making silly faces at her daughter since I spent the weekend there because of her birthday so I had to wait until I got home to get my copy. They had two people behind the counter, but only one was actually working until he saw the line getting longer. The guy shoved my figure in a bag, I guess he didn't want anyone else to see that I got one since I'm guessing not many people preordered...they also gave me the demo for Monster Hunter Tri since I'm going to preorder it next payday. Haven't played either of the games yet. I just opened them up, looked at them, and put them away...been busy and tired. Anyway all the people there were about 15 and younger...one of the clerks said he would buy the game, but I have a feeling he was just making conversation...I haven't met a lot of workers at Gamestop that actually know anything about games. Anyway for the church thing, I don't go to church since I do not believe in any of those beliefs...so it was just a matter of me getting home before the stores closed and helping my cousin with her little girl (she's so adorable by the way and loves it when I make faces at her and imitate her, my other cousin is and was the same way as she is autistic).
