Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

How to beat the Deck above you...

^^^^ deck above is AMU ^^^^

counter = SW Bannette/PT Giratina#27, w/ Palkia X, moonlight stadium

Smash the Azelf, open up the weakness. Bring up low HP basics and abuse weakness. If game goes long, Giratina for LOST ZONE (50 damage + weak = KO, lost zone) to completely break down the 2-2 AMU build. Banette will usually last for 2 turns giving 1 attachment to Giratina every other turn.

Yeah, and the majority of those crazy ideas are not going to win anyone States or even be used in real life. . . . Now, if you took two decks and pitted them against each other and started a discussion about how deck #2 beats deck#1 . . .

You'd kinda Get it .. if... you think of this as a "fun activity."

We're BRAINSTORMING in a crazy, careless, sort of way. After awhile, even you will look up and think "OMG! That gives me an idea!"

You're, also, assuming that some of these decks aren't played. I've Redsharked against some of this craziness. It's a game. It's something to do for 3 mins. It's harmless... so... thanks for runnin' with it :cool:

Yeah, and the majority of those crazy ideas are not going to win anyone States or even be used in real life. You can't play sideboard in Pokemon, and just whip out your crazy specific anti-Dusknoir deck when you play Dusknoir during one round of a tournament. I would argue that this thread is actually counterproductive in the sense that people are removing themselves from reality (where things actually count) in favor of theory and unrealistic attitudes (such as that whole sideboard, 'I'm playing in a vacuum' mentality)
my malice moonlight deck has gone undefeated so far ive played 5 matches i have alot of trainers and supporters that always get me azelf lvx and cressy lvx by my second or third turn.

the deck above was sw bannete/giratina pt/palkia lvx

my counter machamp/unown g/regice tech

strategy use machamp to take out your opponents basics and regice to keep switching there pokemon and unown g to protect from bannete

Okay, I'll give it a whirl.

Deck above was: SW Bannette/PT Giratina#27, w/ Palkia X, moonlight stadium

Counter: Gyarados MT with Weavile SW and Unown P/E tech, Lake Boundary

Take advantage of the low average damage being done by dealing more to them depending on how much you currently have. With Unown P, you can deal 10 damage to an undamaged Gyarados and use Flail for 10+30(Dragon DNA)+20(Weakness)=60 damage for one energy. Since you have a Weavile, you can take advantage of the Moonlight Stadium. You'd need to play Unown E to stop them from oneshotting your Weavile, though. Lake Boundary when it's convenient to maximize damage done.

Deck above is Gyarados MT with Weavile SW and Unown P/E tech, Lake Boundary

Shut off Gyrados's body and have Leafeon clean up using Jolteon to OHKO Gyrados.
