Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

Hybred tourney in Cary, IL - Postponed to May 29th

IMHO, much nicer date for that, considering that there appear to be no Regionals, Gyms, or Pres on that date in the Chicago driving area. I should be there, barring work and stuff...

6 days left, guys!!! This is the ONE to go to if you're not going to the 6 hr Regionals! Really looking forward to this!!

what decks will we be using

You pay $20, get a PCD and 3 Boosters of that set to build a 40 card deck.

Including today, 5 days left!

It'll be $18.00 for the newer Theme Decks (EM, TR, DX, FRLG, HL).

Here's what we have available right now:
1 full box (I believe 6 PCD's maybe it's 8?) of each of the following-
Emerald
Team Rocket Returns
Hidden Legends

2 PCD's of each of the following
Deoxeys
Fire Red/Leaf Green

1 Dragons PCD

1 Jungle PCD ($12.00)

For your entry fee you'll get the PCD of your choice (first come first serve) and three boosters from the same set to construct a 40 card deck to compete with. Tournament starts at noon and I'll be there at 11:00 for registration.

cool i'll be there hopefully . now got to make deck strategy, wuth jungle, of course! lol

You'll be there at 11? That means I'm there at 10. Gotta get in line early for my deck of choice!!!

always phun, Dave. HOpe we can get more people in for the next try at something like this, it'd be more phun to get a full 6 rounds of Swiss in with opponents left over instead of round-robin pairings...

Some major surprises in the way the tourney went out, IMO. A theme deck that I thought had no shot actually was the best one out there. I won't say what it is, gotta protect the advantage for the next one!!! (that is, if there IS a next one)

Bullados- was it mine?

Dave- could we do a TR/TRR draft sometime that would be awsome, or even another sealed theme deck would be nice.

Thanks for coming, everyone. It was a lot of fun! There were some real surprises in the outcome of which deck won. I'll look into future events, but I have to start backing off a little bit to spend a little more time with my family. Hope to see you all next Sunday at the Wal-Mart tourney.

bout the Walmart one, can't make it. Graduation ceremony is that day. Sry.

Thanks Dave for the good time. The boys really enjoyed, thanks for the prizes. They are the kings of the 40 card decks.
