Yep. It's 16 after you have dwindled it down to 60 legal.

EVERYONE should have MORE than 60. (you count BEFORE taking out non-format, not after)

Sent in my decklist, assuming that we can use x4 of any uncommon/common from PL/LA if we want, based on given information. Had 1 issue where the numbers did not add up, but found the error! I am nearly satisfied with the way it turned out. Nearly xD

Clarification question based on the six uncommons/commons from LA and PL thing:

-The limitation says that trainers/supporters do NOT count as uncommons, which eliminates them from being allowed in the PL/LA group. However, does this exclude stadium cards as well?

oh lol we widdle it down then drop 60....which is just enough to cover all me gone cards but leaves me with broken evo lines i can't use....or can i decide which are cut then ditch my out of format cards?

You take out cards to get to 60 card deck. THEN you have 16 changes.

I'm not sure why this is so complicated.

Step 1: Take out cards until you are down to 60 in the deck

Step 2: Make up to 16 changes using the specified cards (The random binder, 6 PL/LA common/uncommon cards, and 3 energy cards)

Thats it. Once you have finished step 1 and 2, submit your entry to R_A

You can add up to 3 of any Basic Energy that is not already in the deck! (you may mix or use 3 of the same)

in a later post RA mentioned cards not magically appearing and must use energies Jonathan has

I was under the impression that i can add any 3 basic energy with the presumption that Jonathan has access to it (for ex. additional grass energies from his theme deck) or could just as easily borrow from players in the league
but the second statement confused me which lead me to think that i can only add basic energy cards from the binder of fun and randomness

I think the 3 basic energy is included in the total of 16 cards that you can replace if you like meaning it could be 3 basic energies +13 other cards hope i got that one right

Stadiums fall under "trainer/supporter" category

NEVER send 2 sepereate PMs. Resubmit everything in a single PM. If you send 2 seperate, I'll only use one and trash the other.

That is a VERY good question! (thanks for asking)

You CAN add up to 3 basic energy to the deck out of thin air. This round has the energy add rule. Nice catch! Anything beyond that 3 has to come from binder. (VERY nice catch)
They STILL could for 3 changes towards your 16 though!

The rounds ARE meant to make you think and second guess yourself. The energy glitch there was NOT intended to confuse you. (back to school week is distracting me from attention to detail ) I apologize for that one.

Making sense of that part is part of the challenge. Address it as best you can as it is an acutal score.

If I were you, I wouldn't worry about it. Tuesday will be here before you know it, so our scores for this round should suffice.

With the entry turned in, I have to say that getting used to the grading system is a challenge; I could've done some things differently to appease new players. However, even the more complex elements are fairly easy for the new kids.

I was pretty happy with the random cards I had placed into my deck, though. It's fair to say that Jonathan "did" improve the deck, lol.
