Wow, what a way to bring in the New Year!!! You have read it right...."Insanity Cards & Games" will be pulling an "ALL NIGHTER" on New Year's Eve. Details are below.


On December 31st, from 9:00pm-7:00am we will have all night card playing. This will include the following:

"VS. System"
"Yu-Gi-Oh"
"WoW"
"POKEMON-TCG"

The cost is $7.00 per person which includes pizza. All tournament entry fees are extra. Call for any further details or questions at (972) 437-6311.:thumb:

On New Year's Eve, we have our regular Pokemon League and Weekly Tournament. These events start at 12:00 noon with the league and 2:30pm with our tournament.:biggrin: :biggrin:

We had a nice turn out at the "Insanity~Pokemon League" on Sunday, January 7, 2007. There will be the Pokemon League and Weekly Tournament this coming Sunday, January 14, 2007.

However, MP Birch will not be there on this day. I will be running the "Lewisville~City Championship" at the "Game Exchange". For details look at the "City Championship" thread on PokeGym or MP Birch's website.

MP Birch is sorry for missing any of you that came out last Sunday, January 14th. The ice and cold was just too much for me. Tom and Chuck will be holding the Pokemon League this coming Sunday, January 21, 2007. The league lasts from 12:00 noon until 2:30PM. Call the store for information about the "Weekly Tournament".

MP Birch will not at league this Sunday. I will be running the two "City Championships" in Grand Prairie (Saturday) and Lewisville (Sunday) that were canceled last weekend. For details look at the "City Championship" thread on PokeGym or MP Birch's website.

"ex Dragon Frontiers"~Sealed Pack Tournament

MP Birch will be back in action at the "Insanity~Pokemon League" on Sunday, January 28, 2007. The "City Championships" will have finished up by then. MP Birch has the new league season stuff and I will be giving it out also.:thumb:

As a special treat, the "Weekly Tournament" will be an "ex Dragon Frontiers"~Sealed Pack Tournament. :cool: Players will get six booster packs of the "ex Dragon Frontiers" to make a 40-card deck. MP Birch will provide "BASIC ENERGY". After the tournament, when you turn your energy back in to me, I will give you an extra "ex Dragon Frontiers" booster pack. The entry fee for this tournament is $15.00. MP Birch has enough product for only ten players. The first ten players that sign up will be entered into this tournament.:wink:

We hope to see you Sunday at the "Insanity~Pokemon League". Again, the league starts at 12:00 noon until 2:30 PM. The "Weekly Tournament" starts at 2:30 PM.

~~Pokemon League : February 4, 2007~~​

On Sunday, February 4th the "Insanity~Pokemon League" will run as usual. MP Birch will not be at the league. I will be attending my grandson's birthday party on this day. Have fun and Tom or Shane will be there to keep up with your league points.

Also, on Saturday, February 3rd "Insanity Cards & Games" will be hosting the "ex Power Keepers" prerelease. Registration starts at 11:00AM and the first round will start at 1:00PM. We hope to see you at these events.

Yes, league day has arrived!!! We are looking forward to a full weekend of Pokemon League play :thumb: . It has been a while since MP Birch has been able to attend and I am ready. :biggrin: Come on to the league today and get ready to play. Wow...What A PokeWeekend~Part 3

The "BIG~Pokemon Weekend" of leagues is just too big for one day. So on Sunday, we all head over to "Insanity Cards & Games". When MP Birch arrives with Austin and Dawson (The little Birchs), players all over the place. Wow, "hitmonchan93" is helping a new player with his deck and helps the parents select a "Theme Deck" for Brian to play with. Awesome, job "hitmonchan93"!!! :thumb: MP Birch sits with our new player as he plays Devondrick in a game. Brian catches on quickly to Pokmeon-TCG. Great job by Brian's parents of supporting him with Pokemon, also. After the game, Uncle Robb comes into the store and helps Brian with improving his deck by giving some of his cards to Brian. Thank you, Uncle Robb for all that you do to support the game of Pokemon and MP Birch with your help!!! :cool: :cool:

On our third stop of the "BIG~Pokemon Weekend", it seems that the "NYSE" has reopened. With players playing pick up games, trading everywhere, and MP Birch filling out new league cards for the players. The "Insanity~Pokemon League" goes by quickly with all of the action. :eek:

"Insanity Cards & Games" has a "Weekly Tournament" after their league on Sunday. We had 13-players that put their decks to test. :biggrin: The "Weekly Tournament" is a great way to get introduced to the "sanctioned tournament play that is very low key. This is greatly recommended for players that want to play in "Premier Events" as the "State Championships" in March.

Everyone was buzzing about what they should play in the upcoming "Texas~State Championship". This event will be hosted by "Insanity Cards & Games" on March 3, 2007. :clap:

We hope to see everyone next Sunday for our league and weekly tournament. MP Birch will not be there next Sunday as I will be with Taylor, my son at his birthday party with family and friends. Have a great week.

Let's get ready for the "Texas~State Championship"!!! Come on out to the "Insanity~Pokemon League" and get those decks ready for next Saturday. Spotter and Mr. Tom will be running the Pokemon League tomorrow. MP Birch will be at Taylor's birthday party as he turns 18.

Spotter has sanctioned the "Weekly Tournament" that starts at 2:30PM.

Come on out enjoy playing the game that we love....Pokemon-TCG. Bring your friends and let them enjoy the fun of Pokemon.

The North Texas Pokemon Leagues will run as usual for the weekend of March 9-11, 2007. MP Birch, Spotter, and Uncle Robb will be at the "Oklahoma~State Championship" in Del City, Oklahoma on Saturday. MP Birch and Mrs. Birch will be there from Friday night until Sunday afternoon.

The "Madness Games & Comics" Pokemon League will be ran by Mr. David and Chris H. The "Comic Book Craze" Pokemon League will be handled by Mr. Matt. And the "Insanity Cards & Games" Pokemon League will be ran by Mr. Tom.

If you attend these Pokemon Leagues, have fun and we will see you next weekend, March 16-18, 2007.

All of the "State Championships" are over!!! The Dallas/Fort Worth area had a few crowned as "State Champions"!!! Good job by all of our players that made the trips to these "State Championship" events.

We will be back as usual for the "Insanity Pokemon League" on Sundays. MP Birch will have some down time to recoup from these events. I am planning on playing and having some fun the next few weeks before the "Regional Championships" start in April 2007.

We would love to have you come and join us for all of the Pokemon fun. We hope to see you this Sunday!!!

Easter Sunday-League Is Cancelled

Pokemon players and parents, the "Insanity~Pokemon League" will be cancelled this Sunday on Easter. Please spend time with your family and celebrate this Easter. We will be back next Sunday, April 15th with the league running strong. Have a great weekend and we hope to see you next Sunday.

MP Birch will be at "Insanity Cards & Games" on Sunday, April 15th. Our "Weekly Tournament" will be the last time to test your deck in a sanctioned tournament before "Regionals" in The Woodlands next Saturday, April 21st. Come on out and enjoy a day of Pokemon and play test that championship deck.

League starts at 12:00PM and the Weekly Tournament starts at 2:30PM.
