~~Come On To Our Pokemon League & Play~~


Our Pokemon League at "JJK Cards" is growing!!! We added five new players in the last two weeks. And three are in the "10-Under" age group. So, come on out and join the fun each Sunday afternoon at 12:30pm. That's right we will start at 12:30pm now so that the League will be two hours long. :clap: :clap:

At 2:30pm, we will hold our weekly tournament. The format is "Modified Constructed". Bring your modified 60-card deck and play with some of the best players in the State of Texas. They will also help you with your decks during League play. :thumb:

Also everyone, if you feel your deck isn't up to snuff for the weekly tournament, PM me and I will build you as competitve a deck as possible. I have several cards for decks like draggy, amphy, walrein, magma etc, and would be more than willing to help you be a master :thumb:

~~Attention...Pokemon League & Weekly Tournament Moved To Saturday~~


The Pokemon League and Weekly Tournament will be on Saturday, March 26th this weekend. Not on Easter Sunday. Tom says that the mall will be closed on Easter. We will hold our Pokemon League and Weekly Tournament on Saturday, March 26th at 1:00pm for League and 2;30pm for the Weekly Tournament. MP Birch hopes to see you there and have a safe and happy Easter Weekend.

Back To Normal

~~Pokemon League & Weekly Tournament...Back to Normal~~


The "Pokemon League" and "Weekly Tournament" are back on the normal schedule of each Sunday afternoon. The "Pokemon League" will start at 12:30pm and the "Weekly Tournament" starts at 2:30pm. Come on out with the kids and learn how to play Pokemon-TCG. Its a blast to play and you will make some new friends.

This is an exciting time for the Pokemon community. The "Pokemon Regionals" start on May 14, 2005. With the "Gym Challenges" to follow, you could win a travel award with hotel to the "Pokemon World Championships" in August 2005. So, come on out and play test those decks. We could be sending you to "Worlds '05' very soon.

Update

~~The Pokemon League Is Going Strong~~


Come on out to JJK Cards on Sunday from 12:30pm -2:30pm for our Pokemon League. Have fun battling, trading, and talking Pokemon with some of the best players in the State of Texas. We will have our "Weekly Tournament" at 2:30pm. The format is "Modified Constructed Deck". We play age-modified swiss rounds as well. MP Birch is looking forward to meeting and playing Pokemon with you.

We will not have the "Pokemon League" this Sunday, May 1st. We are hosting the "ex Emerald" Pre-release Tournament instead. From what I have heard about some of these cards in the new "ex Emerald" series, you will surely want to get your hands on these cards before the "Regionals" and "Gym Challenges" that are starting the following week. :clap: :clap:

I hope to see you here on Sunday for the "ex Emerald' Pre-release. Let's have a full house!!! Mr. Tom and MP Birch are buying chairs this week, so let's fill up all of these chairs. :thumb: :thumb:

Pokemon Is Back to Normal

~~Attention: D/FW Area Pokemon Players~~


The Pokemon League at "JJK Cards" inside of Richardson Square Mall will be backto normal on Sunday, May 8, 2005. Bring your MOM with you to spend the day playing our favorite card game, POKEMON!!! MP Birch will be in Austin, Texas for the last "ex Emerald" Pre-release. Professor Gilbert will take my place at "JJK Cards" to run the League and Weekly Tournament. The Weekly Tournament is Modified Constructed Deck.

Have fun and let your MOM in on the fun as well.

Hey Pokemon players, come on out to our Pokemon League on Sundays at 12:30pm until 2:30pm. If we have enough Pokemon players interested, we will be adding Wednesdays to our Pokemon League!!! The League on Wednesday will be from 1:00pm-3:00pm starting on June 8, 2005. So, come on out and double your fun with two Pokemon Days a week at "JJK Cards"!!!

League Day During The Week-Changed!!!

~~League Days Are: Sunday & Thrusday~~

The Pokemon League days for this Summer will be Sunday at 12:30pm-2:30pm. The Thursday League will be at 1:00pm-3:00pm. This is changed from Wednesday!!! We hope to see you this Summer at "JJK Cards" for our Pokemon League.

The Pokemon League and Weekly Tournament are "on" for Sunday, June 26, 2005 at regular time. Professor Gilbert will be running the League and Tournament. MP Birch will be in San Antonio for the last Gym Challenge in Texas.

There will be no Pokemon League on Thursday, June 30, 2005. MP Birch will be at "Origins '05" in Columbus, Ohio from June 30th -July 3rd. I will be playing in the "Professor's Cup 2005" and "Nationals '05".

Professor Gilbert will be running the Pokemon League and Tournament on July 3, 2005 while I am gone.

I was curious about this and have a 7 year old nephew that is interested in playing Pokemon. Is new players welcome to come and try to be part of the league? I know that I would probably be the one who had to play to start till he can read better but I figure that it will be a good way to keep him motivated to get better at reading.
 
I don't attend this league but I can assure you that MP Birch would be more than happy to have you & your nephew.

~~Pokemon League At "JJK Cards" Is On The Grow~~


Our Pokemon League is on the grow!!! We have added about 12-16 players over the past month!!! On Sunday, July 17th, we had 22-players for the League and 16-players for our "Weekly Tournament". Those of you that have not attended the Pokemon League lately need to come and meet the new players and start play testing those decks for "Worlds '05". We have been having fun with all of the new players and getting to know them as well. :biggrin:

Come on out of the HEAT of the TEXAS SUMMER and join the Pokemon League at "JJK Cards" located inside of "Richardson Square Mall" on the southeast corner. Those that need help with their decks, this is the place to be!!! We have seven players that have won "Travel Awards & Invites" to "Worlds '05". The player level here is veeeery high!!! :thumb: :thumb:

We are looking forward to seeing and meeting you at our Pokemon League. :clap:
