I like the name of the Poke-Power, Death Sentence. It's a shame that it won't be released in NA with that name

Cards ill most likely be looking for

Shiny duskull
shaymin lv x
shaymin
Pikachu
Base charizard

There's a lot of great cards in this set, as everyone's already said. It's a Rogue player's dream come true. What a way to come back to the game!

There's lots of good Grass cards too which makes me very happy. Sceptile now has Wild Growth AND Energy Trans. Combo that with Celebi and you've got yourself a very wicked deck. The Tangrowth is good too. Scizor is good. Even Vespiquen isn't THAT bad as a supporting Pokemon.

Shaymin is great, yes. I definitely believe a 2/2 Shay/LvX Shay is required in grass decks. But there's a very easy way to break it. Just use Venusaur from Secret Wonders or Vileplume from Legends Awakened to pretty much guarantee status so you can hit for 80 for two energy. Personally, I'd use Venusaur because I like the card a bit more. Even using Smeargle and Shaymin/Shaymin LvX could be good too to take advantage of Seed Bomb.

Gengar is amazing. I always loved that ghost. It's incredible how the ghosts seem to be really good in DP. Dusknoir goes without saying, but yeah an effective Kingdra counter. Salamence too is amazing. Lumineon's got an amazing power.

Yeah, I know I've probably repeated what others have said. But overall I am impressed most by the large number of good Grass cards.

Gah...so many possibilities!!

Gengar...wow. I just got done playing with this beast in swarm fashion a few games and....wow....

Gengar is a monster and will kill you every time.

Kill you as in you played against it? Or does it mean that it is suicidal?

Machamp is pretty neat. I need to see what the normal one does though.

Level up and Revenge for 130 for :fighting:. Nice...

Another Magnezone. Now there are four different ones to think about including the Lv.X, and I can't figure out which one(s) to use anymore.

¡¡Gengar!! ¡¡Oh Snap!!

Oh, and 200 HP Torterra Lv.X is .

Sableye is awesome
glad to see cyclone back(who cares about warp lol)
grass finally gets the boost its ALWAYS needed.
Energy Link is gonna be lots of fun.
the lumineon/cress deck looks fun but i think it needs dusknoir to function better.
Raichu is a great card but looks pretty boring with all of these other cards out XD
Im expectin alot of gengar, in addition to amazing card art, the card is actually good.
Salamence is pretty ridiculous.
Empoleon is <3

this set is great for the game.
(sorry for obvious lack of proper grammer/punctuation)

IMO, these are the 5 most broken cards in this set (from 5 to 1):

5. Tyranitar: Play this card with Darkrai LV.X and Weavile SW = Amazing. It make take a couple of turns, but 80 to each of your opponent's active pokemon and 30 to the bench is just groundbreaking.

4. Raichu LV.X: Attack twice in 1 turn? This card is ringing the word broken. Of course you have to use Voltage Shoot once, but you get to choose the next attack. With so many combinations with the new raichu, the md raichu, and the mt raichu, endless combinations can be made.

3. Regigigas + Regigigas LV.X: These cards are very, very interesting. Interestingly broken. Let's see: Get Regigigas and 3 regis out, Level up, giga blaster, then giga power next turn, then giga blaster, etc. Sacrifice at the right time on Regigigas, and it can be an interesting game.

2. Gengar: It's just incredible. The Poke-Power is a bit flippy (Love the name!), but flip a heads and it brings payback. The first attack brings even more envy. For one energy, you can place up to 6 damage counters on one of your opponent's pokemon. The second attack also helps with Lumineon, as it gets to look at your opponent's hand beforehand so you can get a strategy of what to do.

1. Salamence: I do think this card is the most broken in the set. Just about every deck plays a pokemon with 120 + HP. So T2 you can either knock it out or leave a lot of damage on it. Also 2 energy for 50 isn't bad either.

Once again, this is just my opinion for the 5 most broken cards in the set.

If I made top 10 cards, my other 5 would be:

6. Sableye
7. Luimineon
8. Shaymin X
9. Duskinoir X
10. Torterra

You mean 80 to the active and 30 to each benched. You don't get damage added to benched Pokemon.

It's up.

Sableye!!!! Wow ... the perfect starter.

While Sableye has an interesting Poke-Body, nobody really LIKES going first.

I really like how the Charizard, Charmeleon, and Charmander have the original art, but re-done. But if Japan got OUR Base Charizard art, then will we get Japan's art?
