IV Bragging/Inquiry Thread

Taking advantage of a glitch like that is really unfair IMO.

it is no glitch. Every game that has what seems to be random events, has a generator. they all seed in different ways.

like in pokemon Platinum, its random numers are generated by year, month, day, hour, minute, second, and ammount of time spent on the continue/new game/options screen.

The only "unfair" way to play is if you have illegal attacks, abilities, stats, etc.

The PRNG is probably the most accepted means of stat manipulation there is.

Not really. It's more of a glitch as was the Emerald cloning glitch in the Battle Frontier.
Anyways...(heck if I know if all this talk is topic-related).

Ugh...rotfl so I caught myself a bold lugia on XD yesterday, and purified/migrated today. I was all excited I'm like OMG bold! But...his IV's? I guess the best thing to do is laugh.

Assuming you had an open slot in your party, and saved right before entering the battle, you could have calculated it during the second battle, guessing at the nature. That's how I SR for XD001.

EDIT: It's also how I got this a while back. Quirky #249 Lugia: 31 / 30 / 30 / 14 / 31 / 29

I caught myself a Level 27 Blissey with a bold nature a few weeks ago with the following IVs
HP-31, ATK-31, DEF-31, SP AT-31, SP DEF-20, SPD-25

Currently training it for the Pokemon Video Game tournament next month.

No it is only hacking the game when you take a non-nintendo device and forcefuly alter the games programming or game play.
This is already programmed in.
