Jake Shpringman's apology

As far as I know it was just one 11 year old kid. It was just a stupid prank, no one should be offended by it. Jake doesn't represent POP, it shouldn't be a problem. Especially because 99.9% of pokemon players don't send porn links to other people. Not everyone in every game is perfect. This whole thread is just people's opinions about what's morally right and wrong.

Okay first of all, Jake shouldn't be given leniency for his actions. Mike summed it all up with his post. We don't need to discuss that any more than it has. If there were other people involved then at least one of the perps was properly punished for his actions. If anyone else was involved and caught, then they probably should receive the same disciplinary action. From that logic, it isn't unfair or biased.

As far as I know, the admin said he would let Jake in the forums if he performed well at nationals. He didn't, so the admin didn't let him in. That's all the information concerning Jake's possible invite to neo.

Last time here people.

He used OUR trademarked brandname to DECEPTIVELY send PORNOGRAPHY to unknowing users.

11 year old or not, this is completely inappropriate behavior to engage in, and using our legal marks to perpetuate the prank is completely unacceptable.

Fostering a wholesome, family friendly environment is of pinnacle importance to us at POP, and this incident was neither wholesome, or family friendly.

Mom got it right in her last post.

People aren't perfect, and Jake is very aware that he IS recieving a second chance...after his suspension is over.
