Japan has a very different Tournament structure compared to the rest of the World

I'm surprised that a deck consisting of Infernape, Gallade, Luxray, and Alakazam is not popular. Also surprised about the lack of donk decks. I wonder how donk decks fell over there.

donks failed cause a sp's. They have 80 hp. Only machamp could donk them, but most sp decks play unown g to the max!!! If anyone says anything about rampardos I'll start ranting so..... let's not go on that subject.

Gallade SP LV.X
Beedrill
Luxray SP LV.X
Hippowdon LV.X
+ a few older decks (but few)

Almost exclusively Dpt2, in other words.

Drapion's only notable thing is his power which is already situational thanks to it being flippy. Add that to the fact that no current Drapion is really any good and his attack is fat.

Just a quick guess at how to play that: Setup and stall until the opponent attacks. Then you get the advantage of being able to Xtreme attack to finish off their X and you also get to use Upper energy.

upper energy doesnt work with X's. you would have to use something else life leafion or wevile for the energy acceleration.

You would use Trapinch for the energy acceleration.

you would have to discard and energy for that to work and its faster to evole quickly and have a pokemon ready to start charging.

I don't what will become of this card, but if it does become a dominant archetype, the mirror match should certainly prove interesting.

I really want the deck to become dominant as I find more joy in playing mirror matches than anything else - it almost makes me sad that I wasn't an active player last season.

I'd play Luxray with cards that can counter its fighting weakness, so a psychic, grass and water attacker is a help to the deck.

Although I do not believe countering Luxray's weakness is the best way to play it, I have to agree that the best way to accompish it would be with psychic pokemon, rather than this stadium. At any point in the game, the stadium can be countered, and followed up by an easy OHKO.
