If they have Shiny Items and Pokemon, Full Art Pokemon and Supporters, and Energy has variants already...

Who's up for a Full Art Plasma Frigate, played sideways for a landscape view?
Forget that, let's get a Shiny N with blue skin and orange hair.

I hope the Plasma stadium isn't changed to only working on Plasma pokemon. It'd be nice, for a change, to see a themed Pokemon line actually help out other non-themed cards. Not horde all the benefits themselves.

Wouldn't that defeat the point of truly having a theme? Haven't we had enough examples of that backfiring and fueling unintended (or intended but questionable) combos?

If it happens, it happens: not that big of an issue. Still, if its going to help everything... why make it themed to begin with?

Depending on how popular Plasma becomes we may see a rise in play in Enhanced Hammers... stock up now?

Thats the one thing I love about having Sableye in the deck. The fact that you can throw in one random tech against a specific deck and use it over and over.

Liability is back baby!

Okay, sort of, kind of, maybe not really. ;)

Assuming Poison Hypnotic Beam is more or less accurately translated, this will allow the upcoming Raticate to OHKO anything. For those who don't know what the Raticate does, for the hefty price of :)colorless::colorless::colorless:) its second attack drops the HP of the Defending Pokemon to 10... which Poison would of course finish off.

As LegendCallerL has been pointing out repeatedly, the deck is fragile. I think I'll call it Glass Cannon. There are enough "tricks" to deal with it. It would of course by no means be "BDIF".

COLRLESS might be an immediate staple, it replaces PONT. But you need a big bench.

Look up Steven's Advice; it largely defined a format. Keeping a small bench is doable, but hurts decks so bad you're still getting something from the card simply existing. Steven's Advice wasn't a four of in all decks only because it was straight draw and had a restriction on how many cards you could have in hand before playing it.

It is a bit "chicken and the egg", assuming the translation is more or less accurate; you'd like to get a big draw off of Colress (they couldn't name him Cole Orless or something a bit easier to pronounce?) so you can help your set-up, but first turn that will be hard.... then again, that is when N shines. I really think Colress will simply push other supporters to lesser roles... except for Professor Juniper and N. Three to four each of Colress, N, and Professor Juniper will likely become the norm. Even playing conservatively, odds are you'll get a five to seven card hand from Colress.

Poison Hypnotic Machine? More like 'Mushroom Eradication Machine.' It's like they went "I feel like making Amoongus entirely useless," and then they did.

Colress is like...Steven's Advice fused with PONT...I APPROVE!

This makes me all the more excited to see what Ghetsis is going to be.

Well, to be fair, Amoongus didn't have that much use to begin with. I've been testing decks with it, and unless we get a card with a Junk Hunt+ that works when it Evolves from hand and/or Seeker and Vileplume back... yeah.

Colress is going to be great. A combination of Steven's and PONT that is really, really needed in thiis suporter dry wasteland.

I don't like trainers that cause status conditions. =/ Always something i felt should be left to the Pokemon. And the fact it can cause too is worse.

No doubt Colress will be 4 in every deck. Currently most lists are 4 of Juniper and N and mixture of Bianca and Cheren. Now it will be 4 Juniper,Colress and N.

Not neccisarily. Stage 2 decks will have the option to not run insnae Discard that damage them and may run like 4 Colress/4 N/3 Cheren/2 Juniper so as to not always be throwing away great hands. But we also dont know what toher supporters will come out or what Ghetsis does.

I think more that Colress will replace Juniper for the most part, unless you specifically need the discarding capabilities of Juniper (which some decks do), Corless saves your cards and gives you as much or more in return probably most of the time (except late into the game due to KOs and such).

I like Poison Hypnotic Beam, you can run a nice full Poison deck along with Pokemon that deal more damage when special conditions are stacked. And in general it shuts down any active Abilities for a turn, which force a retreat on your opponent.

Sorry if someone's already said this (didn't see they had).

Remember that Colress with be out with Hugh! If everyone starts playing 4 Colress, i'm playing 4 Hugh! Draw 12 on your turn, discard 5 on mine :D
