Japan's BW7 set: Plasma Gale

So far, Plasma Gale / BSD's have Lugia, Articuno, Zapdos, and Moltres. It's 2000 all over again :biggrin:

Anyway, this gives us :colorless:, :water:, :lightning:, and :fire:. Kinda rules out other Pokemon of those types (i.e. Thundurus, Regice, Heatran, etc.)

However, granted these Moltres and Zapdos are in Battle Strength decks, there is the possibility of these two being separate from Plasma Gale, like how they did with Reshiram and Zekrom in Psycho Drive/Hail Blizzard.

If this holds true, then there are four more EX's yet to be revealed for Plasma Gale.

But this is all conjecture.
 
If Zapdos and Moltres are separate, there should only be two more EXs from Plasma Gale, since it's a smaller set like Dark Rush, which only had four EXs.
 
I have a feeling we'll see Regirock and Cobalion/Virizion as the other two EX cards. Normal form Deoxys might be possible too.

On a side note, since Chimchar, Monferno, and Infernape is in the set, anyone else thinks we might see another starter line or two?
 
I wish they'd kept up the one starter of each type from a different generation thing from Dark Rush, but FBCF messed that up for the future.

I suppose they could just do it again as this is first solo set since then, and just pull them from gens 2 & 3 for the other two.

I think Genesect EX is in our future. I mean it only makes sense.

Honestly, I'm just waiting for Arceus EX. Cuz you know it's gonna happen.

Since Gen 2 hasn't had any of its starters appear in the BW era, I think we'll see Meganium/Sceptile or Swampert/Feraligatr.

A Dragon type Arceus that can change to other types depending on what energy is attached to it. And you could choose what type to change to if you have more than one energy type attached.

If that happened, you could hit anything for weakness.

And you could use both Blends & Prism, or do as Ho-oh does and use every kind of basic Energy. Maxed Energy Search, Maxed Catcher (obviously), add Sableye/Dark Claw as salvage and just to mess with 'em.

All this and more would rap up into the ultimate deck. No one would be safe.

Vileplume would ravage once again and Arceus will actually be playable.

I speak of dreams, of course, cuz the TPCI probably wouldn't make something so insanely broken. Or would they...? :cool:

Instead make it like 3 for 50 so it's not too broken by itself but still packs a punch with Flower Thing.

Or give it like 160hp to give it Glass Cannon stats.

COBALION-EX released... 100 for 2 (M) and a Colorless, dont apply weakness, resistance, or any other effects
PROOF via Pokebeach, wont release any other info.

HOWEVER, I see this card as a possible klinklang pairing, for late game use. however weak to Entei ex.

his first attack is definately worth mentioning. a mini Garchomp attack that does 30 for 1 is pretty alright. He also officially 2HKOs all exs int he game, even with large cloak, and is a much better attacker to deal with sigilyph than giritina imo.

Hes not the best, but he and Landorus are both very good 1 energy attacking exs that work off the same blend.
 
Now, instead of Mewtwo wars, we get Cobalion slapping each other to get around Klinklang.

That, or Reshiboar makes a comeback.

Registeel tanks a lot better alongside Klinklang IMO, with 80 and reduction.

It's ok, especially with Plasma energy running around.

Also interesting that it isn't a Plasma Pokemon unlike the 4 Birds.
