Swift is a tween bleh who shouldn't be in music. People like that are the ones that I look at and say "So, why am I not more famous than this person?"

Taylor Swift is a passing fad.
And Beyonce has all the single ladies

People need to figure out what real music is. Not this trash that they've been marketing as music for the past decade or so. :/
 
i honestly think kanye west is a terrible person. he ruined taylor's first vma and said he should be in the bible and he said he was the new king of pop 3 days after micheal jackson died. but its ok he didnt win anything and he makes terrible music and he loves fishsticks if you know what i mean
 
People, seriously? This thread has nothing to do with who won or why - Taylor Swift won, and was RUDELY interrupted on stage as she was accepting her award...why? Because Kayne West wanted someone else to win. What he did is totally unacceptable and humiliating. As for Beyonce-she's cool in my book now.

...Yes. The MTV Music Video awards are based on votes, and logic. It is not at all a POPULARITY CONTEST, and the awards are NOT handed to random people, just to make them show up.

Are you confusing Taylor Swift with... I dunno, EVERYBODY in the world? She is a mediocre Avril Lavigne for the country music scene. Not exactly what you described, but sure whatever
 
Beyonce is a very talented singer. I especially like ""Irreplaceable" and "If I Were a Boy".

obviously she does not. taylor CANNOT put on a performance like Beyonce AT ALL! She hasnt sang for the president, acted in major movies, and cannot dance at all. Beyonce has conquered it all. dont hate =)
 
You guys all miss the point here. KW, Beyonce and Taylor Swift are all talented in the music industry, but right now their talent levels and "who's better" shouldn't decide things here. (and I'm reading some pretty racist comments here as well. It doesn't matter what the music genre is, and color certainly shouldn't be a factor)

The point is, Kanye was a jerk. Now I don't like any of the singers mentioned here, and KW doesn't have that much real talent IMO. But Taylor Swift won. I've seen her accept things before, and it's always the same crap....but Kanye had absolutely no right in this situation. That's what it gets right down to. Anyone who believes kanye was right is just denying facts.
 
It was not staged if you watched it you see swift is shocked and they move on to a next vid really quickly lol it wasn't staged at all and kanye tryed to apologized after the show but that doesn't help now lol they can't go back and time and change that so ...
 
I don't watch the VMAs, nor do I listen to Kanye (outside of a few records) or Taylor Swift, but I'm surprised people are still surprised by Kanye's actions. The guy once said that if there were a Bible written today, he would be Jesus.

I love the character he plays, and I'm willing to bet this whole thing was a set-up, but I'm honestly still surprised stuff like this gets so much attention.
 
They didn't HAVE to stage it. You just invite Kanye West along cos you KNOW he will likely do something like this.

Result = crappy music awards get headline coverage and a thread on PokeGym (which is what they really wanted).
 
What's the point of discussing trivial things like this? Regardless of what we post there is a chance Kanye only did what he was told. So untill someone says something what's the point of arguing about something we can't change?
