Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

'Kay Good Luck.. (Kyogre/Groudon Legend)

Vanderbuilt: sableye usually isn't super hard to get out. Bebes and collector and comm give you 6 cards to search it out. I have had problems where I started with like uxie and 3 twins, but people do try to not take prizes so I have a little while to set up. One time my friend stalled with toxic dang and bright look for like 8-9 turns trying to not kill anything. I everually manually drew into a candy and got everything out without twins.

Also I'm just wondering how they killed their own tomb.. Did they actually evolve 6 pkmn on the field? And what match up was that? If it's gengar then ur fine, as you don't really need twins.

The deck is a little bit weak against an early judge, initiative. If you dot start with sableye and u go up giants a deck that goes 1/2 or 2/2 on initiative ur in trouble. The deck ony runs 11 basics, and more than a third is sableye or smeargle so u should have good starts. Also u said u played 10 games and only out of 2 of them did u have bad luck, and one u fame back and won. I'm fine with those odds myself haha

Also you have to play smart with this deck. Like I never waste a supporter out of fear of judge or whatever. Usually all I do is collector thn Cyrus for twins and that's it. However if they are playing slow and not taking prizes I would try and force a prize. Benching a totadile to get sniped or whatever. The deck has flaws but the surprise factor is huge. And ppl dint like not taking prizes. Especially sp.

The guy who asked about dialgachomp: it's an iffy matchup. Not really a fun one because it depends a lot on remove lost flips. If they hit like 4 at once it sucks a lot. But they don't ever ko u really. You should be fine If luck isn't on their side. Deaden early game is prett annoying. I would bench everything in this match IMHO for fear of lookers

I really love this deck if i where to make kyrge groden legend deck i would put the cards you put in here in my deck. But this deck dosent do good aginst luxs chomp thats the problem.

omg!! I had this planned as a secret deck if there was a mid season rotation, I had no idea that other people had caught on to the amazing power of KGL

I tried KGL at league today, but my friends have my sableye, junk arm, vs seeder, and rescues. So I made a different build with budew (stormfront), and it was OK. I beat luxchomps, but I couldn't handle the disruption of Yanmega, Also, I had one game where two bottom halves and an azelf were prized, and feraligator couldn't take any prizes.

But I would have to say the Twins does make the difference in consistency.

Against Mewperiors is fun too. What? I discarded two energy and wiped out your whole bench? I'm sorry.

actually just to let u know that way of doing the deck is way to slow the way a friend and i run it and played at our states with is

4 Unown R
3 Dialga Reverse Time
2 2 legend pieces
3 Uxie
1 Azelf
1 Unown Q

Trainers
4 Super Scoop Up
4 Junk Arm
3 Dual Ball
3 Bebes Search
4 Research Record
3 Legend Box
4 Poke Drawers
1 Luxury Ball
2 Warp Point
2 Seeker
1 Bubble Coat

Energy
4 Fighting
9 Water

This way i got it out turn 1 of being able to use trainers
This card is not terrible at all the only deck u have trouble with is vilegar and it can beat machamp
Im trying to find room for a regice for a tomb start but even with tomb start as soon are u are free to use trainers u are able to get it out

Nice deck and nice article. I'm going to try it. :)

What do you think about Jirachi RR as starter instead of Sableye and Smeargle?

I think I already said earlier but jirachi just isn't as good as sableye. If u really wanna run it then play like 3/4 supporters instead if two. Sableye just has so much more flexibility tho

Okey, thanks for your opinions. I was just thinking about Jirachi that if my opponent takes the lead, I could use double Twins for few turns and search out everything I need. Haven't tested it though, so maybe I'll trust your words.

But I think I'll still try it.

Vilegar is a big deck right now. I'd rather have a bad matchup against machamp than against Vilegar. I love the speed engine, but it's just not practical in decks right now.

hey elekid, now I have never played, nor played against kgl before but, have you ever considered maybe having as one of the techs jirachi? You can use the same supporter 2 times in one turn and when it's knocked out it is escentially a mini twins? I really love your list and the article still. ^^
