Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

'Kay Good Luck.. (Kyogre/Groudon Legend)

^ toxicroak G+skuntank G=less consistency and a pain to get out when you need it. then psychic energy would be needed. there's not too much open room in the deck for something like that

Imma lovin' this legend a lot, but knowing that this guy is best used as a tech in Blastoise Floatzel, the losses to hand disruption are probably going to start real soon.

I actually used KGL at regionals(with a good amount of preference modifications), and I went 5-3 missing cut. Luxchomp had to have been my easiest matches of the day. SP was soo easy to beat. Magnerock is really a tough matchup if you aren't hitting 3-4 energy. Judges really hurt. I also lost to ampharos prime with 2 Kingdra prime techs. If I attach 4 energy then I already have 80 on me. Add Kingdra's into the equation, and there's nothing I can really do except hit 3 energy(doesn't happen). Although I lost to some random junk, I really like the deck.

I've played this deck some at league, and it's awesome fun. So when Rare Candy gets an erratum, what happens? (In the future, Rare Candy can only be used on basics that spend a full turn on the bench.) Against Luxchomp, will it still be possible to get Exploud up, or will Whismur just get sniped? Would running Bench Shield solve the problem, or no?

Intesting idea , when I first saw a legend I was like wait this could never work been then while I was reading your AMAZING article I relized this could really work out.

overall loove the arrticle and like the deck
