I'm considering trying to get the sunday off, and travel up to eugene for the second one! (So I can actually compete.)

Well I got good news today, I have the next 12 days off from work, and I'll be able to attend the Eugene Prerelease! I was bumbed out that I wasn't gonna get to play in one, but now I'll be able to! :smile:

Woah, there's a huge gap between the Medford and Eugene PRs and the ones for Portland- and Salem-area. The 9th to the 23rd? It seems weird to me (but what do I know).
I have to check into my residence hall and move in on the 23rd, so maybe I'll get to Portland on the 24th. Who else is going then?
 
lol, the cards won't be a very big secret by then...it'll be kind of like a post-Prerelease. I wish I could go to all of them,
and in like 3 years I may be able to. @_@ Being a school teacher will allow my weekend schedual to be more flexible! :smile: And I thnk the gap is because they don't want to hold PR's during worlds, so they skip that weekend.

Simple explanation - WORLDS. Chris, June and I will all be in Florida the weekend after the Medford and Eugene events.

I think Elekie is still a sneior, and Jonathan will be a senior. Charles will be aswell. Not alot though. Oh, and the youngest Lowie. "sabout it.

We gave her a deck and she seemed pretty excited. i think she started playing before they even got out of the parking lot!!! I'm sure she asked all kinds of questions on the way back to Salem :biggrin:
Now we can have Clarissa play with the cats too :lol:

But yeah, I appreciate the chatter and such. She really enjoyed talking with you and June and everyone else who approached me.

Yeah, we were talking about Pokemon and singing Pokemon TV show songs all the way back to the hotel. "WERE ON THE ROAD TO VERIDIAN CITY!!!"
To my surprise, she actually had a lot of fun playing the TCG. Granted, I had to combine my GG and Empoleon decks, reduce everything to a 4-2-1 line and give her a 1-1 Claydol to make it fair, but it was still fun. : )
 
Well! The Medford Pre-release is Completed and in the Books! And we has a BLAST! And a pretty good turnout
for our first Big Event down here! We had a total of 30 people for the tournament, mostly spread between the
Juniors and the Masters. And everyone had a great time!

Here were the winners!
Junior: Ricky M.
Senior: Mitch
Masters: Aaron H.

(And side note, I swept up everybody in the Booster Draft afterwards! THIS IS MY GYM!! :smile:)

to Mr. Raichu and Mama June for coming down here and running this tournament for us. They are truly
two of the greatest people I know, and my life has much better quality with them in it! Thanks for the

Wow, what an awesome day. We had 50 or 51 people at Eugene today. One in three people managed to pull a Lv.X. I managed to trade for a Gliscor Lv.X, so I'm satisfied.

Mewtwo Lv. X

Whooooo Hooooooo I GOT ONE!!!!!!!!

My first pre-release event and I pulled a Mewtwo Lv. X Both of my kids think they will trade me out of it but they can just keep on thinkin 'cause it aint gonna happen!!

Mr. Raichu and June were really great and Don was as welcoming as ever.

We had a really good time. I lost every match but I learned something about building decks under those conditions. I didn't spend enough time with my own deck since I was helping my kids get theirs setup so I ended up with too many pokemon and not enough energy.

Good luck to all of you heading off for Worlds, I'm looking forward to the next Battle Roads.

*Does an annoying Bragging Rights Dance.* OOOOoooo...OOOOoooo! YEEEAAA! :) I didn't do to well in the card tournament, but hey, it's ok. I walked away from this weekend with....4 LVX's!!!!!! I pulled 2 in Medford and Traded 1 and Pulled 1 more in Eugene! :) One of the most fun weekends I've ever Had. Good luck at worlds everybody! :) See you at BATTLE ROADS!

The Eugene Pre was Awesome. First time i've been there, and probably won't be the last. If i recall there were 16 people that pulled LV X's from the 6 packs, myself included. I plan to attend the Portland Lokis one as well. This set is worth going to two atleast. I got second place in Masters. Hopefully i will pull another LV X at the Lokis one.
 
I can't believe that I have to miss so many. stupid inflation :( I'll be at one for sure, and hopefully pull my quata of 2 Lv.X's and 3 Armaldo...in 1 pre..... :(
