Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

Live from Dutch Nationals

This was the very last tournament were any Fossil deck could be played this way, so Arco did it.
Grumpigstall went out with a victory.

GJ Arco! I don't believe you make the deck run in a week....you are a PRO!

As i said, GrumpigStall is the answer to all our question.

It's a pity this year we cannot play it at Worlds.....it's the only deck in the world which will not be playable at Worlds. Maybe one of the few decks which can make Infernape only a silly monkey. And you're the only man in the worlds which cannot play his national deck at Worlds. This sucks!

Congrats to the other players anyway. I think it was a great Nats.

thanks, andceo, also for the post in the other topic
i really love your deck and the credit is all yours, you came up with it.
i hope we will be able to come up with another cool deck for worlds, and that Europe will win worlds this time.

GJ Arco, you really are the best player I know =) I hope you do REALLY well at Worlds.

I just lose at Pokemon :p ah well, Hawaii is too far away anyway ;)

But yay at Jetze and Olaf who got the SR and JR trips, at least that's 3 players from my league at Worlds!

Whoa, Grumpigstall eh? Even if I had tested and competed here, I wouldn't have added to my gauntlet ;) Well done Arco for winning the whole thing! And also congrats to Arnoud and Jetze, of course :)

Let's see if I have more time (like not having three tournaments in one weekend) next year to join up again with you folks :)

Masters

1st Arco O. - grumpigstall or Pigpower (thanx to Andceo for the basics of the deck)
2nd Kevin de M. - Raichu/Exxegutor
3th Manuel B - Metanite
4th Marcel O - Raichu/Exxegutor

Just to make sure my friend and teammember Florens vd H gets his credits Lia, I wasn't 4th but 7th (lost to that ******* pig 2-1 in top 8 :p). Florens played Metanite.

Congrats Arco ! But too bad that Kevin didn't won nats and that Anna didn't win the rating invite, now there is only 1 Dutch master certain of an invite to worlds.

Interesting fact is that the 8 highest ranked masters in the Netherlands all made the top8 ! and Arco is first in both the ranking and nats and Kevin is second in both (and even the 9th player in the ranking was 9th at nats and 10th in the ranking was 10th at nats).

I don't plan on making a real report so here's how my nats went:

I didn't play that much tournaments this year but practiced a lot by myself and with a friend. I ended at the 9th place in both ranking and nats. In swiss I went 5-1, only losing to Arco (because he was just better). In T16 in the first game I had one basic and then 4 turns not a single usefull card (except energies) so T5 my only basic got KOed. In the second game I managed to set-up, but again with like the first 4/5 turns no supporter........... while I played 4 tranceiver, 4 mentor, 2 adventurer, 2 researcher, 1 scientist, 3 tv reporter, 1 copycat, so that was it.

But anyways I am already looking forward to next season !

I got my invite throught Asia-Pacific Rankings!

Arco please DO NOT play a dec 'just for fun' this year lik you did last year, you're doing so well and showing so much potential, please take it seriously this year!

Robin played Flygon EX LM with Nidoqueen, I think.
Jetze did indeed play Banette EX (the SpeedBan variant)
