Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

Live from US Nationals

It seems like Empoleon/Marowak players were ready to break the metagame but has had a lot of misfortune in pairings facing decks they were not expecting (Lighting weakness seems to be a problem).

I'm very interesting in knowing the list....i would have played it with 2xAbsol Ex + 2xGiant Stump to make the Spread Damage thing faster.
 
WOW, great job all you Florida players! We have at least two in each division with an invite...AWESOME!!

Sorry to leave you off the earlier post Jim...I totally missed James R. because I was looking for Jim R....lol.

Good luck to all of you at Worlds...Daniel, Bobby, Grafton, Garrett, Eric, John, and (did I forget someone again? I hope not...but if I did, please forgive me). Wish we were going with you!
 
Just got back home, and I met a lot of people and here's what I gotta say about them:

JohnnyBlaze: Didn't meet him personally, but I saw him around. He kicked butt in the professor cup and seemed to be a cool person.

Feraligatr: Jeff works so hard. I didn't see him rest a single minute from Thursday to Sunday. This guy and all the staff at Nationals need a round of applause. *claps*

Bulbasnore: Finally, I can match the name to the face. Cool guy, too bad we didn't get to talk more.

Twitchy: YOU GOT SHOT!!! j/k It was good to see you were walking around on Saturday. You were funny as usual.

Spazcrackers: He seemed to be doing fine. I hope he was able to make some cash for some older cards. Gotta have $$$

Benlugia: Keep moving...lol ;)

Pokemom: Nice, but like most judges, swamped with work throughout the entire event.

TheDarkTwins: Sour grapes? ;)

Lawman: Great to see you again. Looking forward to MT Pre-Releases.

Granddaddy: Awesome as usual. I need someone like him in my area lol

PokeMart: Good to see you again.

Meganium45: Barely made it...and had a great attitude to boot!

MTJimmer: Nice to meet you. It's always nice to meet the people behind the scenes.

KingGengar: Top 16! 1-UP! WOOOOOO!

CameraMan: I'm jealous. My camera died have way through Sunday. You take great photos.

Flaming_Spinach: Too bad you didn't make top cut.

Gym Leader Blaine: Nice to see you again. Get some rest.

Tommy's Back: Great to see you again. Kick butt next year, I know you can do it. Tell your mom I love her and I hope she gets better soon.

How could anyone forget that dinner experience-- you poor gals worked sooooo hard for our food that night-- we owe you bigtime! Our stomaches all thank you for making that perilous journey out into the wilds of Columbus...!

Wow-- what an awesome weekend-- Everyone -- awesome PUI Staff, Judges, Volunteers, Players and Families, deserve such an enormous THANK YOU and a round of applause!!!

My sis gets paired against hardest matchup in t32, kid cheated, gets away with it,sis looses probly 10-15 pts,placed 19, 10 points away from that well deserved invite spot...:mad:

My grapes are sour...very very sour:nonono:

I would just like to say congrats to Utah Players Taren R and Forrest G for making T32 cut
 
Wow, I had a great time!

I finished 18th (5-2) in the Professor Cup (Missed cut by 1.5%).

I finished with a 5-4 Record in the MAIN Event...Got donked twice (Turn 2)...and lost to an ape 6-5 (with no draw I might add...:lol:)

I had SO much fun at Nationals!.

I topped my Geometry Wars high score, and I saw Transformers three times! Plus, I worked!!

I can't wait until next year!
