Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

Live from US Nationals

Congrats to Chris, you played great. Great job John for making 3rd place and to the rest of the Florida players, see you all when you get home.

Thank yuo one last time to GLB for keeping us up dated and to the Gym for making it possible. Thank you PUI for putting together a great event, I look forward to participating next year.

ditto: thanks to GLB (aka Doc Ock? all that typing has got to take more than a single pair of arms)

Jay H - aka Jaeger played Scizorgross and came in 2nd in MA. Go matchups!! Congrats for a stoney decision to play Scizor in a heavy Ape environment.

I played Scizor in the Professor Cup and made Top 16 then lost in Top 8.

Nats. was great as always. It actually ran smoother than in years past. Day 1 ended at 9 pm 2 hours earlier than last year.

Great going! I was especially proud of my homizzle, John...Bug ftw!!! :thumb:

VERY proud of local pals Glen Priest, Andy M., Cameron H., Jose Steven E., and Jason P.!!! Also proud of any other Texans who represented. ;)

It's been a great ride, folks. Hey, Patrick T--2 years of t. 10 in Seniors!!!!!! Woot!!!!!!!

(Ok, allow a proud dad moment!)

I went 5-4 with Banette, with my only losses being to Umbreon decks. Also, Pramawat METAGAMED me and Zach Fisher the night before. WHAT!!

Entire week was fantastic though, met lots of cool people, had lots of fun. :D

edit: either way, I think Ambush was still a very hot choice...6 of them made the cut, more than any other deck (including the only undefeated deck through swiss). Jimmy could've won top 32, but he had two COMPLETELY unplayable hands...like...cubone/6 energy.

I went 3-3, dropped after round 6. I was doing so well to start off, and then just got donked 3 rounds in a row. Oh well, there's always next year.

Anyone know the #3 Junior - Steven R???

What State he is from or any info...trying to ID for the rankings...hoping I have figured him out...

If I am right???:thumb:

Could he be from WA???

Thanks

Vince

Congrats to all top 32 Juniors...who survived an ELITE FIELD....

(OK, OK, the Seniors and Masters fields were PRETTY GOOD too!!!)

Just a short reminder, picts are up in the gallery! I will post more about our experience later when I have time, but to sum it up all rather quickly...

AWESOME,:thumb: AWESOME,:thumb: AWESOME :thumb: EVENT! Besides taking a short but rather PAINFUL spill by the water facet, it was a blast! But more to follow....:thumb:
