Good job on your appearance with a red face paint no one saw coming. That was sure something. Good Luck in the future. Good luck at Basic Training.

I didn't notice him wearing red face paint during our game... haha just kidding. I feel like a thug for picking on a spelling error. "Rogue" is more like it though, and Luxray/Abomasnow definitely fits that bill.
I had been considering running the Luxray/Electivire SW/lv. X/Energy Link I mentioned after our game because like you, I see a lot of potential for Luxray in this metagame. You would have probably fared better in Texas because from what I gathered, the top cut was comprised of Palkia G more than anything else, with a few Kingdras rounding out your positive match-ups. It seems that in Oklahoma, Palkia G had largely been forsaken in favor of Dialga G. It's just so ironic that a level X (Dialga G) would be the card to shut down Rivalry. PUSA have a sick sense of humor.
Also, I know I barely know you and have only played you twice, but both times I've seen Abomasnow and I also remember reading in some other thread about you running it with Scizor earlier in the season. I don't know of anyone else who has been so loyal to the card or who has used it in conjunction with such unique partners and so this leads me to believe you are a true ABOMASNOW MASTER TRAINER. Other, lesser trainers would try to coax Abomasnow into appearing in a deck with Luxray or Scizor and it would be unruly, refusing to cooperate, but you have clearly managed to not only earn the trust and respect of your Abomasnow to the point that it is willing to do whatever you say, but also to effectively harness Abomasnow's abilities in a number of different circumstances.
I love being silly on the Pokegym. In all seriousness though, congratulations on the top 4 and for representing Texas in that strange foreign state known as Oklahoma.
I wish I had been able to attend Tx States, but I was visiting my wife in North Carolina, so therefor had to attend NS States in of Texas'.
Once I saw Obamasnow, after I had stopped playing for a while (after battleroads), I said to myself. This may be the best card in the modified format. You can ask anyone you know (that I have played), this statement might be true. People hate playing me because they KNOW I run Obamasnow. I have played that card in 7 CC's and 2 States. Doing very well. I have a combined loss record of 13 with the card in those tourneys.
Here is a list of decks I have played Obamasnow in:
Tournament Play:
Luxray/Obamasnow
Tyrannitar/Obamasnow
Scizor/Obamasnow
League Play:
Dusknoir/Obamasnow
Kyogre/Obamasnow
Obamasnow/Blissey PT
Ampharos/Obamasnow
Brongzong/Obamasnow
So as you can see, I LOVE my Grass/Water Pokemon!!!!!!
Technically, you love your Grass/Ice Pokemon. :thumb:

Hrrhrr, I even remember you playing with that god awful MT Abomasnow back then too. You did incredibly well with it as well, as I recall. While I can't vouch safe your deck choices, I can certainly attest to the quality of player that you are. I hope everything goes well for you bro, and maybe see you later this year. You'll be missed.
