just letting people know that there is no league on 27th sept, boo hiss lol.
battle road is 11th oct and stormfront pre-release is 25th oct. check fanboy3 for further details.

usually me being destroyed though, so i suppose it is entertaining when i do actually win a game, ha ha ha ;)
i beat roddish in the league though !!! never happened before. i have a good teacher (won't mention names) who's lessons are starting to sink into that void i call my brain...thanx
when i play you, i think i'm just really unlucky, even with a weakness advantage...doh!
 
Thank you all specailly my coach Scott. I hope we do this well at nationals this year. I'm not going to be at the next two leagues. I was wondering if anyone was interest in setting up a testing circle.

league was fun today :). good to see an old face..kongy. don't leave it soooo long next time. there seem to be more and more new faces at league these days which is a reallllllllllllllly good thing for all concerned. the more the merrier. ...
don't know whats wrong with me, having a really unlucky streak with any deck i use at the moment. i feel scott's view is correct, i'm just really unlucky with what i draw. i even swapped decks for a game and still didn't have much luck. hmph grr fume... oh well. see you all soon, saturdays are over far too quickly for me.
 
Hey all. I've just moved to Manchester for uni, but I haven't brought any of my cards with me, because I had no way of fitting them into my luggage. I might bring them up after me at Xmas, but I fear that they'll be a little outdated by then. :( Anyway, I read that there's no league this Saturday, but is it on the one after as usual? I may well pop along for a bit, meet the faces behind the usernames and hope for a few games using other people's decks. :p I'm near the top end of Oxford Road. What's travel like between here and Newton Street? Will it be a bus job, or walkable?

:biggrin: hello, there is a league on next week definately. no "official" one this week ,might not be room cos some other tournament type thingy happening-non poke. :(
you'll be more than welcome to join in, everyone is really nice. if you're at city centre end of oxford road then should be walkable, depends how far down you are. quicker probably by bus, upto you, not been down that way for a while...a few years actually :redface:

Alright, cool. I might well pop along then. I'll find myself a map and probably walk it. I'm almost opposite the Aquatics Center. :)

I just looked at a map. I must have done that walk about four times today already, plus a trip to the Northern Quarter and a session in the pool. My halls to Piccadilly Gardens is nothing! It'll take me about ten minutes max. I'll be along for sure, and I hope that some lovely person is willing to lend me a deck for the duration of the day. (The only thing I'm a bit iffy about is the possibility of getting from there to Manchester City's stadium in time for matches. I might try out the walk tomorrow as a tester.)
