Metagross POTF, whats it good with?

When scanning through the potf scans this caught my eye.
130 hp metal type, body says all pkmns hp is reduced by 20. attack: 2M 1C 60+ if stadium is in play, 20 to all of opponets pokemon that are same type as active. not a really good attack. so what would work with it? it helps spread so much bu you would need to run it as 1-0-1 with stage 2 as attacker, because of needing hp and for other uses of a rare candy. so what is there thats stage 2 and spreads? All i can think of is dusknoir X.

Good question. A player down here thought that the body meant in a sense that if you took everything to having 20 HP and then let Metagross hit play (or just keep it in play) that everything is gonna be mass KOed. I think that is the right assumption with his body, so I think he is gonna be a GREAT tech in spread/snipe decks

I thought Metagross reduced HP BY 20, not TO 20.

It reduces by 20.
It's attack isn't that great, however it's power is quiet unique. It can work really good in spread decks.

this however is a unique card and can be more effective than a spiritomb b/c its just like dealing 20 more damage to everyone without dealing damage. oh so you like to have 70 hp... nonono its 50 now and then everything dies with one less hit pretty much.

This is what I thought as well. Gengar would only have to Shadow Room once on Claydol, Azelf, Uxie, etc. Or just Shadown Room them, leave them with like 10 or 20 HP left, then late game when your opponent thinks he's gonna win, drop a Metagross and take 3 prizes and lol @ your opponent. <33

Kingdra is another option as well.
