i've been telling chris to take out 2 energy removals and put in to super scoop ups, good call dobsonr

This deck looks good, I would be concened about playing low hp ex though. I mean, wheres the reversals? I just stall, take an er2 or 2, and then come out and ko your mew. Mime is nothing, I've played against it several times, and with it in a tourney, its too easy to ko. Nice idea, but I think it won't work against much except the psychic weak decks.

so if they arent weak to phy, what r they weak to?i know they place damage counters,i wasn't sayinf anything about that, just want to know what they are weak to.if anything in the deck is weak to phy,a dusclops banntette deck or dark slowking will pwn it due to its multiple exs.just my thoughts.

I think the only thing weak to PSY is mew and as for the decks mentioned above they dont ge tmuch play anyways

theres always going to be weakness and resistance in almost every deck, with mewmime, its biggest defense/offence is setting up uber fast/not letting your opponent do the same. disruption is the name of the game

It's late, but don't think that I don't have replies to everything that everyone has said. I most definately can support this deck's capabilities, and hope to get other people to at least try it out before they say anything negative about ex's with low hit points when they are dropping you by turn 2. :)

The mew ex, espeon ex, and metagross are weak to psychic. Play the deck though, it rarely becomes a problem because your pokemon dont get ko'ed. The whole point of the mimes is to prevent damage, and if they do get in trouble thats when you break out the super scoops. If you want to use the mimes without additional ex's team them with houndoom, but be aware that the deck is a tightrope walk . I've also played it without the mew ex and it works good, he really isn't essential its just a versatile option. So if you worry warts want to take him out give it a try, its no biggie. Like surge said the whole point is disruption and little to no setup for the deck.

i've played with it a few times and the thing i find most benificial about the deckis thati hardly ever have a hand full of useless stuff. it seems like every card has a purpose and contibutes to something. kudos to ligh_gengar on this one :)

but dusclops places damage counter too,so with 2 phy and a boost,or 5 phy, dusclops OHKO's mime, mew,or the other mime.even if it only kills those three,it is a win right there.just more of my thoughts.but it is a good deck though, and dusclops bannette doesn't see much play,so,yeah, good deck!

this deck is great because it can cause so much trouble. but any deck with status conditions will smack you because of the ex's with low hp... posion, and burn will tear you apart, or anyone with safegaurd.

As far as status conditions go i think that espion ex will be your best friend with a free retreat cost and the ability to do 90 damage if they have that burn stadium thing (lol). With the petms in this deck (not to mention draw power) they're not hard to come by. I can definetly see how a safegaurd deck can give mewmime some trouble, but mind you this deck has three metagross in it that can do pretty consistant damage of 70 (energy connect if you need more or energy removal if they need less), so there are ways around it...but it would still be really tough.

you'll have to excuse ligh_gengar, he doesn't have the internet so he only responds when he's at my place. as far as i can see its just going to come down to who has the quicker set up. I haven't seen the two go up against one another so i can't refer to specific examples, but based off the deck list i think that mewmime has a few more weapons. The ability to do 60 damage turn two while keeping the dusclops ex from gaining too much energy (energy removal 2). I think it would be a bloody battle until the end, but mewmime will be left standing. Naturally you're going to fight this tooth and nail but thats just my opinion :)

it seems to do best against decks that perform best mid to late game, but against a really quick build (zap-turn-dos) it has a harder time

if your really worried about psychic weakness, you could use a 1-1-1 kingdra or something to get rid of weakness of your active... just a thought.
