No, for the earlier question, POP 9 is not legal.
We are doing the "bring a buddy bonus" where if you bring a new player BOTH you and the NEW PLAYER (playing in their first event) get a BONUS pack of Pokemon Platinum!
Not bad for sharing the game we love!
Just do us all a favor, and help them learn to play too! The game is great!
Reminder to all....we have great leagues going on in St. Louis.
I was THRILLED to see my Neutral Zone friends last night (Tuesday), we also have league on Wednesday at B&B St. Peters, and there will be people playing on Thursday night in Eureka...who also plays on Monday Night.
On Saturday Morning (11am) you can go to GameNite in South County and see their GREAT new store! WOW!!! This is also the mall that Regionals will be held in...
Not enough? Come on over to Belleville to Fantasy Books on Sunday at 12:30 with that great group over there! Judy and company REALLY keep them going!
5 Leagues to choose from, and rumour has it (going British on you now) that there is an Edwardsville League on its way!!!!

Understand that there are QUITE A FEW places to play test tonight...
ZZ is having a party/lockin to get ready.
There is a group at the Eureka Days Inn who are going to be playing...
Now, if you come up to Eureka, remember they have Friday Night Magic, and magic players are VERY sensitive and scared of Pokemon players so be nice to them.
They are shy, so DO NOT pet or FEED the magic players. (Was that wrong?...yeah, OK)
Oh, and Will gave me trouble last night (You all can thank Will) so I am going to add some cool Japanese Stuff to the door prizes for tomorrow! Deckboxes, Sleeves and the like!!! This is on top of the Pokeballs, Hats, Binders and other "usual" door prize items!!
Also, there will be all sorts of stuff to buy at B&B that you can NOT find anywhere else! This includes Shaymin and Giritina Plushies! Big and small! Other Plushies (Buneary, Pachirisu, and more!...too cool) at BETTER prices than you can get off of the web (and no shipping!!!)
They will have Japanese Deck Boxes and RARE Japanese Sleeves for sale (Pikachu, Dialga, Starters, and other RARE sets, along with some not-so-rare sleeves (such as the Japanese Shaymin and Pokeball Sleeves).

so I stayed up all night playtesting everyone else fell asleep so yeah let's bring on the fun yo
The turnout felt more like a Regionals rather than States. Granted, there was a little more walking space, and yet...
Being out of the judging loop for two tournaments and being thrown into something like this is pretty killer. My legs even now are promising soreness to come.
I had a good time. Thanks everyone for coming.
