Moms Kindness, Too Broken

Okay, name one card better than Mom's Kindness, and dont say the gliscor with two colorless for possibly 70, because its unfair to mom's kindness to compare the two.

-Gligarman

we arent comparing mom's kindness to pokemon, we are comparing it to other SUPPORTERS

I actually made a deck with 4 Mom's in it. I ran Weavile and Prugly. I still beat folks with this deck. It made me sad.

Of course you won! This is what Im saying people! Dont feel bad, its not a bad thing to beat an opponent. Youre just ahead of the curve! You should be proud!!

I repeat, name ANY card better than Mom's Kindness (other than gliscor). Ill lay down my cape if you can convince me its better.

I'ts kinda depressing that someone really needs to point out the sarcasm here...

lol gligar was saying to name a card better than mom. u cant thats the irony.
also i dont see what rew and those guys aer meaning,. whos ace?!? if yuo r atacking moms dont be sarcastc!

Ill admit, those are some great cards, but I just cant believe they're better than kindness. I remember the good old days when LBS was around. The only better deck from that era was.... speed wartortle. So glad they banned that deck, it would have been terribly unfair to everyone who couldnt afford any wartortles. Imagine speed wartortle with Mom's Kindness. I shudder to think of it!!!!

Well, there are some good sides to ghastly. If you... Um... his second attac--- no.... um....

Im sorry I cant possibly advocate that card. Ever.

Mom's Kindness is so bad. Draw two cards. Bill is different in one way, which changes the whole thing, it's nota supporter card. The Ace.

Yeah, it is pretty obvious.

At first I was alarmed when I read about Cresselia lv. X being SCRAMBLED in one of the comments here, but then I noticed that the person typing that was obviously in on the whole fake Mom's Kindness campaign and I could laugh again while relaxing my "that's against the rules!" reflex.

Also, something has been bothering me now that we're on this most unlikely of subjects-- whose mom is that anyway? And why would she be so generous to a stranger? Shouldn't she be reserving that generosity for her actual offspring? What if her son was playing against someone using this card? She would be a traitor for helping the opposition, and the home would be divided.

The more I think about this particular angle described above, the more I actually think this card should be banned. It isn't broken itself, but it COULD lead to broken homes. Or, at least one home.

Also, this card would've been more of an accurate depiction of true maternal kindness if it read something like, "Here is the $5 allowance you did not really earn because you skipped a whole section of the backyard when you mowed last weekend. There is also a glass of milk and a bowl of cookies waiting for you on the kitchen table."

In order to provide a balance for Mom's excessive and IMO misplaced kindness, I think what needs to be released now is Dad's Vicarious Living. He'd be one of those intense sideline coaches/referees/fans all rolled into one aging deadbeat who only exists to see their son become the football hero they never could be. The text on it would read, "Draw two cards, but ONLY IF YOU'RE A HIGH SCHOOL ATHLETIC HERO."

Well like I said I bet Dawn really doesn't appreciate her mother indiscriminately spreading her kindness out to all the other boys, girls, men and women out there. As you pointed out, there is no stipulation! That means the kindness does not even have to be properly earned.

It may be selfish for Dawn to be so resentful of her mom's dispersal of generosity, but it is also human nature, and in the end that trumps everything.

You know, I really can't believe what you have begun here Gligarman. It almost feels like a revolution.

By being able to finally discuss Mom's Kindness after all these weeks of repression I feel liberated!

Moms kindness is mediocre

The worst card ever is Spearow from frlg. 40hp, Surprise Attack flip a coin if heads do 10 damage.

*flips coin*

SURPRISE!! I flipped tails!!!

Best deck ever, torterra dp, spearowfrlg, gastly base set.

This should solve the entire thread's problem; Gligarman, you run 4 Mom's Kindness, and the rest of us will run other, more efficent cards. Next year, at Worlds 2009 or Nationals 2009, if you place well with Mom's Kindness, we'll all laugh and admit we were all wrong.

Island Hermit was good for my deck because I played it in a period of time when it was popular for you to run no draw cards in Gardellade and rely on your opponent to provide you with draw supporters.

What if you're playing a mirroir match? You would be using the "poorest" trainer, while they would provide you the "good" trainers and they would get the poorest trainer to then use. But then, Mom's Kindness becomes one of the best mirroir-matches "tech", so we couldn't say it's bad. Then we would be providing them GOOD trainers :nonono:.

BTW, Gligarman, I want a signed Mom's Kindness one of these days. :)

Gligarman will never reveal his true identity! For all you know, I could have already won worlds! Dont worry though, Ill always be around, ready to spring forth as evil shows its face! With the power of Mom's Kindness at my side, no villain could ever defeat me!
