DOES NOT!SW is right Quaza needs Fire and Electrick 1 each to attack. Its attack says discard ETHER all fire or electrick so 1 electrick or fire would do 40 but since (C) 80 and Quaza has 100.Do we have to take this to Ask the Masters?

Basic Energy cards attached to Ditto provide all types of Basic Energy. No matter which type of Energy you choose to discard, each Energy card provides that type of Energy and is therefore discarded. So both Energy cards must be discarded, and the attack does 40 x 2 Energy cards x 2 for Weakness = 160 damage.

It doesn't get any simpler than that.

Thank you, Ron13 and SlimeyGrimey. THIS is what I was looking for. Again I apologize for any confusion on my part. Thanks again guys.

CMT (CharMasterTrainer) , don't listen to what BanginBox says. He's prolly just mad because he lost his CC. :p Actually, it ain't my place to say so, so forget I ever said that. Um...yeah. Anyway, BanginBox means, if I could rephrase this:

CharizardMasterTrainer: Gardevior takes a lot of skill to handle because of its power, and can cause problems if not used correctly. The 20 damage rule can be harsh, so next time a huge event is coming up, practice loads before the tournament so you have experience with the deck. If Gardevoir continues not to work for you, consider something else for the PreReleases.

BanginBox, lay off on the insults. It makes you look like a real noobie, even though you may not be.

I am very sory Slimy Grimy sorry about my attatude...I was wrong.CMT Espeon or Dusclops with GardyEX?I have not tried or heard of that if you are playing it please tell me if it works bad or good and what the strategy is.

My two cents:
The most consistant Gardevoir deck is just Gardevoir ex, Gardevoir RS, Wynaut & Wobuffet. You certainly don't need more psychic tech. Xatu, Espeon, Dusclops, Lunatone, Ditto & Zangoose I don't think are needed. Just run the above pokemon and 2 Crystal Shard for Rayquaza instead of Ditto or Zangoose. Running just the above pokemon gives you flexibility so you can run healing etc. 4 Wynaut is needed, that is the best starting pokemon you can get. 4 Boost is needed, triple plus power for both Gards. The only extra tech that has made a lot of sense to me is Wailord to help against Blaziken. Usually this is at the cost of healing. But again the most consistant and likely to win is Gard ex, Gard RS, Wynaut and Wob. For this deck you really need to know how it goes so playtest a lot until you know your deck inside and out. If you can playtest against someone else who knows this deck and maybe you will learn something. It is very easy to make the perfect decklist for an archetype like this or Blazquaza but not know the exact way to play it.

Well ancient pokemon trainer....

I would like to try these decks out but I don't know a good way to practice with them....

Any suggestions on how I might work on this.....??

what's apprentice??

how does it work

Apprentice is probably the most important deck tool online, because you can simulate actual battles without even having to have the deck you want to use. You've got to download the program first, then the patch. I can't use it though because I have a Macintosh computer.

Usually the best players are connected to apprentice because this is where they get their experience in between tournaments. If you haven't heard of it until now, you've got a lot of practicing to do in a short amount of time. :p
Get somebody who you know has it to tell you how to download it, because I've never even bothered since my computer can't run it. :D

First of all, superwooper, I DID win the chicago CC! Not only did I win, but the deck that I created took first at the Lacross CC (with my friend playing it) and I took second in the same tourney with the same deck, only losing to my friend! So jealousy is not the issue here.

Second of all, I did mean Exactly what I posted. I have been playing this game since the jungle set was released. In this time I have done many things. Teaching people to try something new has always been the hardest lesson. This is not about me however. This is something that I like to call tough love. I have known Charizardmastertrainer for some time now. He has been playing for some time now as well. I know this because we have attended many tourneys together. The problem that I have seen is the inability to EVOLVE with the game. At some point one needs to stand alone in order to achive their goals. This is not happening in this case.

Lastly, I will continue to insult, criticize, praise, and even worship when needed. If criticism cannot be taken correctly, you do not deserved to be praised! :nonono:

AGAIN..... TAKE IT AS YOU MUST!

I got apprentice going but then right before getting the Magic cards out a there and the Pokemon in it didn't work so I am stuck with Magic. If someone could PM me and tell me if I did something wrong that would be great.CMT turns out I have hurd of Espeon with Gardy , but if you are playing Dusclops and you can get Apprentice tell me how the deck works if not see 1 of your friends and after that please tell me the results.

Hey, I said it wasn't my place to say so, so forget I ever said it. Congrats on winning your CC! That's really cool, but part of being a great player is understanding that there are always going to be players that aren't as good as you and you can offer them advice and not just trash them. Sometimes I feel like saying that, but I don't, because if I ever want to be a really great player, I know I can't put other people down. I can't have an attitude when it comes to others less skilled then myself. Most people disagree, but I don't think good players have your kind of attitude, so lay off.

This is totally way off topic, so I will not comment again. (sorry mods) I hate to tell you this but without Attitude you will never be the GREAT player you wish to be. At no point did I say that Charizardmastertrainer was
less skilled then myself
. I mearly stated that this particular deck was not neccesarily for him. At no point will I lay off someone who is looking to better themselves. Criticism is a GREAT learning tool. You'll see that when you leave the nest.

If I had my way, which I never will, Gardy would be banned! This deck makes people who put no time into the game, instant winners. All while people like you and me practice, study, play test, and trade furiously to get the needed cards for a tourney only to get beaten by such a player. Thats where the attitude comes from.

Charizard, you are a really good player, who needs to develope some confidence in your ability. With this confidence comes ATTITUDE ! . Use it to your advantage.

Peace out,
jimmy

Ok guys.....

As for the deck I'm using......the reason I keep using it is because if continue to use it....I'll be able to learn how it works in different situations.....I guess it's safe to say "I want to be one with the deck" , kinda of funny but I hope you guys understand.....

The only thing I ask for everyone is suggestions....advice......I am asking anyone to build decks for me....at least not this one and even though I find it hard to pick which cards I want, because I always seem to judge myself on if I picked the right cards...

And believe me I am and continue to work on my things alone, but I kind of feel that you don't necessarily have to always do things by yourself, it's always wise to ask for help when you need to.....at least that is what I was taught...

Ok back to the topic....So this apprentice, anyone know where I may download it....I wanna start testing out the decks I have come up with ASAP....

See ya
