So, what I gather from this is: You just want to take the test?

All you need to do is start judging, your test will come from the rulings questions the players come up with, that's the base of the test itself.
 
PokePop i understand i got the answer, I just would like to take the test. And SandSlash7 i see you point to but why does it have to be blocked to only people -18 and why cant any one take the test. I think Pokemon should do something for the kids. I know their are other responsiblities that we get but what bout something more because i dont need to be a LL. I would like to Judge some Tournaments but i just would like to see Pokmon Decide to change the age to younger and then you wont Be called a Prof. Til your 18
 
don't worry you will be 18 before you know it.
There are many 18+ people/players that are not pokemon professors.
I personally could say something like it's/ judging is a lot of work and you don't get to play/ or to play as much.. And be a lot of drama.. And this is for judging any card came/ any tournament match. Being a LL/or a Leader in the community sometimes takes up a lot of time and commitment, and you feel like you have to league EVERY week. Which in reality was something I could never do.

As Pokepop has said twice before, it is because of legal issues. Under the law, a minor (somebody under 18) cannot enter into an agreement (one where you agree to do something for another person/group of people) without the consent of their guardians. Since the Prof test is taken online, there is now way for POP to know if your parents consented to you becoming a professor or not. Anybody can forge an email giving themselves permission to take the prof test, and then say it came from their parents. Then, if it was found out that a kid was pretending to be 18, POP would be in a world of trouble because they entered into an illegal agreement. That is the reason.

I'll try this again then: It is against the law for anybody under 18 to sign a contract without their parents permission. Signing up to be a professor is signing a contract. Since POP cannot know if your parents gave their permission, it is against the law for anybody under 18 to be a professor.

If you told what exactly did not make sense, I could help you understand a little better.

You can not sign any legal doc leagly under the age of 18.
if you did it would be then in void and not mean anything.
When you become a professor you must agree to some legal stuff and that would be a legal doc.
Just sit down watch some matches and study the rulings while you wait.
I asked and became a League Leader so I could learn and help out around before I can become a Prof.
There is the answer whether you want that answer or not.

Forging a sig is a easy task.

Its juts for Legal reasons a safety to keep them from any legal trouble.

BTW your cuz said "Hi"...
Ask him how our match went.

That would not work because they have no way of knowing if you forged your parent's signature or not. Calling would not work because they would not know if it was your friend pretending to be your parent or not. Basically, it is impossible for pokemon to verify if your parents really gave their permission. That is why it will not happen.
 
Then why do you keep asking if you have already gotten the answer?
If you are having trouble understanding the legal part of this, then how can you even try to become a Prof?

Yes=Yes

You can ot change the fact you have heard the answer and ignore it because it is not what you want to hear.

I understand facts but what bout people under 18 your under 18 right you want to be a Prof. why you not fighting this losing battle with me

Because I know why and understand that it is within reason of why I can not become one.
I can wait and it is somethign worht waiting an working my way up too.
 
Well since its a Losing battle we should end this and this should then be locked but i still feel that you should be able to do, Also why cant you do it at league when a Pto is sitting their and watches your parent sign the form
 
You can't trust everyone.
Beside the PTO might not know if that really is your parent.
Just ask your league leader to regs you as a sub LL till then and help out around there with non POP tournies.

Don't take this too harshly, but what you feel you should be able to do does not really hold much weight in court. Like it or not, the law is the law. Otherwise, if we let people do what they felt they should be able to do, we would have complete chaos.

That would make the PTO responsible for the truth of that signature, and in case the people who signed were not your parents, the PTO would get into a lot of trouble along with POP. It is really much easier to wait.
