Ok so i'm trying to build a realy good dark fire deck within a team plasma theme. The current strategy at the moment is to get the plasmas monferno and scrafty out as quick as possible and use torment to lock down big attacks or use scraftys kick away to send big guys back and also using darkrai ex's power to retreat for free and obviously K.O and take a prize or 2. it runs pretty well but needs to run faster. All input is welcome

deck list:

pokemon:
4x chimchar
3x monferno
2x team plasma infernape
3x scraggy
2x team plasma scrafty
2x zorua
2x zoroark
1x darkrai ex
1x team plasma moltres ex
1x team plasma lugia

trainers:
3x colress
3x plasma grunt
3x cheren
2x pokemon comm.
1x rocky helmet
1x prof. Juniper
2x colress machine
2x skyla
1x scramble switch

Special energy:
2x plasma energy
2X blend energy

basic energy:
7x dark energy
9X fire energy

please help as this deck seems promising

for getting guys out quickly ive always used 4x interviewers questions, and 3x pokedex.

use the interviewers questions to get the energy i need faster, so i can attach, attach, attach, and the pokedex to support the draws.

thought so. ive now removed the special dark energys and replaced them with a team plasmas lugia ex and a scramble switch. is there any other way i can improve it?

i still feel that you have too many pokemon/trainers, and not enough energies.

im looking at your deck, and i feel that if i was using it, id have 75% pokemon/trainers in my hand, and 1 or 2 energies.
I feel that id be using a lot of draw cards, to get the energy i need cuz lets face it, you cant attack without energy.

7x each energy, idunno man, seems kinda weak. even with colorless energy attacks being said, i still feel that the deck is unbalanced.

correct me if im wrong here about legal cards, but i feel that you should get rid of the 2 cherens and add 2 more junipers.

also i would remove the rescue scarf (ive always personally felt its a worthless card), and the 2 communicators, and add 3 legal training method cards for quicker evolution.

Ok so how much energy.should i actualy be running? and is there any pokemon i should be adding or takeing out? and which trainers ahould i actualy be running?

17 energy in total is plenty of energy. What you might need to reduce is your Pokemon count in favor of more Trainers. I'd drop a Zorua in favor of either another Skyla or another Juniper, for starters.

Changed the deck but havnt play tested it yet. What do you guys think? any tips on changeing it?

Its only energy heavy untill next tuesday need 4 plasma energy and 4 blend energy and also need to put 2 colress machine. I'm also thinking of dropping the zoruas and zoroak for another team plasma lugia and another team plasma moltres and adding either a cheren or another juniper.
