Nelson Water Gym v. 6.0

Yes, we are open to suggestions for next year's Water Gym rules. I have one in mind currently, but a better one may come along.
 
It's pretty far in advance, but...

- Ice would be cool.
- I LOVE team play but am not sure how it would be successfully implemented.
- I would be against anything but a modified format.
- I prefer 40 card decks to 30.

Oh, and also, Matt, your tacos were superb but didn't quite top last years.

Congrats to Michael, Ian, and Steven for winning.

Sam I'm totally upset you didn't come.

Thanks to the Nelson's for hosting and everyone who came for making it a fantastic time!
 
aw, shucks. We missed it again! We were on a college-scouting trip for Clint. {a college must be in a town with a Pokemon league to even be considered. . . }

What a phenominal number of 65 in attendance! Ok, now Oregon must host something similar. You can come to our house but as we don't have a pool. . . . I guess a bird bath wouldn't work. . . . hmmm, running thru the sprinker might do. . . .
 
Yah, I realize the tacos aren't as crazy as the kahlua. I need to contemplate further on recipe design, figure out what other people are making as to figure out how to best complement the other dishes. Then of course, I need to test the recipe out and modify it according to testing results. The last thing I want to do is show it off at league early and have everyone copy it.

Wait..........
 
But that would mean throwing everything together the night before without any practice. How far is that going to get?

One of my colleagues is famous for her "grape salad" with H20 Sauce. That's right, she buys a bunch of grapes, washes them in the sink and puts them in a bowl.

And Ted does it with his Deck. Why not do it with the food.
 
Thanks for yet another great time at the Water Gym!! Had a blast as usual and my friend, Nicole had a good time. It was surprising that I still have my game after not playing since December since I ended up getting 2nd!!! :D
I am looking forward to next year already!!

Great to see you again Paul. That was an epic final match between us. I enjoyed being betrayed by you when we played New Super Mario Bros.

I've realized that during the past few years ever since Paul said he's laying off from pokemon, at every event he was able to attend, he always make at least t4. So what do you mean Paul that your skills are rusty. Every time we invited you to a pokemon event, you always make top cut. You haven't been rusty at all. WHAT THE HECK?!!!
